Agreed, Sadly there was drift, This made shots hard to be very cinematic, The race at 0:18 Should of been very smooth and cinematic. Due to this some shots where imperfect and not aligned as they should of been. The drift seems to be due to a software bug in the firmware as the was no wind and etc.

why is the VAL system so slow? Why did they use rubber tires instead of classic rails, is there any significant advantage besides bigger gradient? But I like the automation though

Slow? I find it very fast and efficient. It accelerates at 3 mph/sec. VAL 206 goes about 34 mph and VAL 208 goes about 38 mph. The stations are fairly close together and the speed seems ok for its situation. The most impressive thing is how quick it serves the stations. No other metro system can beat the efficiency of this. The most amazing thing is for the situation, nowhere else would run a metro like this. The trains are small but run very frequently. Most places would long trains not running very often. The VAL is such a clever design that it saves the cost of large infrastructure and uses the technology to its best with very regular trains, which is better for passengers as there are very short wait times. No other medium capacity metro has waiting times this short.

guess you're right, in other parts it accelerates to higher speeds. But the fast acceleration and braking and serving stations in general is amazing, i've never seen an automatic metro system stop so fast. (automatic because in Prague, the drivers open the doors even before the train stops, not very safe...)

It was going top speed in this video. The drone was going about 30 mph, and was overtaken by VAL 208 at about 38 mph. The VAL is the fastest system of its class. It isn't trying to be a full size metro, it is a light rail system. The design of it is very unique. Compare it to something like the DLR or an express tram, the VAL is many times more efficient than its rivals. Also there are full size versions such as line 14 in Paris which goes 50 mph and is just as efficient.
Also pre-doors on trains is safe. The train should be completely stopped before the doors open fully. There is not reason for trains not to pre-door. What annoys me is trains like the London overground have to come to a full stop, then waits a few seconds, then the passenger has to press the button before the doors open. It is so inefficient.
What is dangerous is pre-start on trains, such as on the trams in Romania. I bet the driver isn't fully watching the doors when he starts the tram while the doors are still closing.
