here's an honest opinion: I'm genuinely impressed with the effort put into this. the backgrounds, the music, the mechanics, they're really impressive. the thing that breaks it for me though, is the complete lack of foreground decoration. as pretty as the background may be, it doesn't make up for what's missing in front, and I think that could use a little work. this is still a really impressive and cool mod, don't get me wrong. I do look forward to playing this. but I think the foreground decoration doesn't do this level's potential justice.
I think the problem in question is the excess of objects flying and without connection to the background. In the original game, most platforms had connection to the background, not looking like they were separate objects. There were rarely any objects floating around randomly.

this mod really isn't that hard (at least the A side) i think its just the new mechanics that make it feel harder, i think it might be a bit harder than farewell (by difficulty only, not length) so if you really want you can try it right now and have a good time (im not sure tho cuz i have 19 goldens and its pretty hard for me) EDIT: I actually have 21 goldens (im bad at math lol)
Lots of mods don't have that high of a difficulty level. Most of the spring collab doesn't require a high skill level and there are many more mods that aren't crushingly difficult. Don't miss out on the mods because you consider yourself not skilled enough.
there are mods with a wide range of difficulties. some of them are easy, some of them are challenging, and some of them look really painful to play. no need to wait until all goldens to try tehem out

For me is also the fact that the background is so detailed it makes the foreground less interesting

Played through Celeste my senior year of high school, still thinking about it years later in college. It’s a cool game.

Most of the spring collab doesn't require a high skill level and there are many more mods that aren't crushingly difficult. Don't miss out on the mods because you consider yourself not skilled enough.
