Yes I have OT and I have for 6 years and I use now but first time I see this kind of creating slices just from the normal mode. I also don't use amp hold and release option for my samples and slices usually and maybe is dump. this was so useful to see and I'll try some stuff when hacking long samples for new textures. mostly I use start points with triggered random wave LFOs with hi hats and other percussions or to adjust samples quickly. To make this kind of effect I just go with manual slicing. But for a more happy random research this is great, most of all because you use audio envelops of random slice as rithmic material searching clip and flops here and there, love that. So dillous but also glitchy
@@MarcoPhen hehe yes I also don't use manual slice a lot. Maybe I'm just lazy but I think this way is more random/ spontaneous. But I have to say that it's not always working out well, it really depends on the sample/loop
This was well done. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation to keep grinding on my sp404 mkii. Once I finish mastering the sp, I'm going to pair it with the octatrack mkii
Nice! Great idea!

@@k8462 Yay thanks mate! 😁🙏
so cool. Nice idea to renew old and forgotten ideas and incredible workflow. Nice nto see this on the OT , with short env and moving the stasrtpoint
@@MarcoPhen thanks man! The OT (and digitakt) is such a deep machine, but it strength lies in its simplicity like P-locking the starting points
