New for 1979 ford downsized their full-size cars. Little did we know that would be the last platform ford would use till the car was discontinued in 2011.
Really wish I was closer. Fantastic car here, and it's optioned the way I would've gone for it. These 80s LTDs have gotten kinda rare down in my area, and you never find them with cranks and the vent windows. Whoever ends up with this is going to enjoy it for years to come. Hard to beat a panther and 302.
2500 is a steal for one of these, at that kind of mileage. I got mine for 2400 with 100k miles, needs paint like this one but compared to other used cars, even 4.6 panther cars which can nickel -and-dime you, these are dumb reliable. I'd go 6,500 on it
my parents bought a 87 Crown Vic with that exact same color brand new i drove it during high school and treated it like the general lee. a few years ago i bought 89 bronco with a bad motor and pulled the motr from the crown vic to put in the Bronco. great and tough car!!!!
Beautiful burgundy interior that gives it a little bit more character to these Ford Full-size LTD sedans
