even funnier when you know the Southern States revolted AGAINST the rights of northern states to refuse to return escaped "property" if those PEOPLE made it to New Hampshire or Vermont. They wanted for their states' laws to be forced on everyone else.
I’m genuinely curious if the people claiming that it wasn’t an insurrection or that it wasn’t an armed mob actually believe what they are saying. How can you deny the literal video evidence?
Kinzinger says he thinks about 5 of the elected Rs in Congress actually believe it but they’ve decided to stick with the loser. Stupid people make plans, Seth says, and there’s the proof😂 The week after the 6th, the ones in office at the time were condemning trump and there’s lots of video, audio and eyewitness evidence that they were scared during the attack. Then some of those loud mean trumpers started pressuring them, including with death threats, and ol trump was polling at about 40%. Lacking any infrastructure such as a spine, they rolled over and turned on ... themselves😂. Now trump polls at about 30% and only 25-30% of Republican voters believe the Big Lie. If they’d just stuck with their rejection of the insurrection and the man who made it happen, he’d be a tiny dot in their rear view mirror.

It's absurd. He's referring to a few video clips of people just ambling through the rotunda taking selfies (nevermind that they had had to break in to be there) while trying to act like the countless photos/videos of them attacking cops, smashing stuff, taking things, ransacking offices, playing around in the House chamber, and yes, shitting on the floor just don't exist.

Fake accounts have been created, view counts tampered with, machine learning used to substitute for lack of English-speaking cyber soldiers, auto clickers used to bump the comments. IT specialist working for the govt did very little to nothing to uncover the way the internet has become harmful to democracy. Sounds like conspiracy theory? Taskmaster is such an original show. It works because they have so many celebs that are actually talented and have great personalities. Where as all we have are a bunch of mush brain idiots who spend too much time in gyms with personal trainers.

I feel like those might be his chill out shows. Given how much of his job involves being saturated by U.S. media and politics, and how many U.S. comedians and actors are his friends/acquaintances in RL, he'd have to go out of his way to 'disconnect' [for want of a better phrase].

Our family discovered Taskmaster during quarantine and binged as many seasons as we can. Alex is the best. Though I feel sorry for him when Greg makes him do something embarrassing.
