Thank you! Nice to see the breath of (qiote) broad basis that QNAP (still & in the near future) covers! A few questions; Question 1: I suppose the "QNAP NAS Lineup : Enterprise / SMB" (one of the first slides you shown in this video) is not sorted in a particular order? (left to right) Other then model-nummers, thus numerical, not sorted on (more) powerful processors? (from least powerful on the left to most powerful on the right). To briefly explain what I'm referring to, the depicted TVS-h1688X has an Intel Xeon W-1250 (6-core/ 12- Thread processor, up to 4,7 GHz) on board, whilst the TS-h886x has an Intel Xeon D-1622 (4-core/ 8- Thread processor, up to 3,2 GHz) on board. Thus, "in my book", the TVS-h1688x is the more powerful NAS? Not it matters that much to me, we have several of both units in use and love them all to bits! (pun intended) Question 2: And my other question, although I suppose that will be answered once the web-pages/datasheets are up; I suppose the "limitation" of USB 4 only (for the new QNA adapters), will also be applicable for the new expansion units TL-D810TC4 and TL-R1210TC4-RP? In other words, no downwards compatibility with USB 3 for those new expansion units? Which I can fully understand, just asking to be sure. Thanks again, very much appreciated!
1. Not necessarily in an order, agree that the h1688X is more powerful than the h886 though. In this case the left to right order would be correct. 2. Yes, so far I understand the compatibility as either USB4 or Thunderbolt3 and Thunderbolt4. Things could change in the next few months leading up to release though.
Is the USB4 2x25Gbe will be compatible with THB4 as well? Would be a great option for MACs 😊Thanks!
Most Mac's with the Apple Silicon are USB4 already so will be able to use them.
@@QNAPUK Great!
Thank you!
