Personally I’ve owned all… I should remain loyal to the ESB as it’s my fave film, however, I found the Vader a little squat and stocky… My second fave Vader is the R1 version, quite menacing, appears taller but a tad skinny looking… My number one spot has to go to the Tarkin Double pack version… Just feel it has the best all round qualities! Cheers mate 😀 Now that you mention it the ANH Vader does look slightly taller than the ESB Vader! Good spot, I hadn’t noticed that previously. I do constantly go back to ANH Vader being my favourite - although I got the separate versions of Tarkin and Vader so not sure if there are differences between the single version and the 2 pack version. Wow the difference in the Hot Toys lightsaber & the CCFL is massive. Been meaning to order afew there awesome. Hot Toys really need to step there game up. Seems like they have gotten a little slack in recent years! Used ro be cutting edge. They need to update lightsabers also add USB instead of those crappy batteries that run out in no time. As well would like to see them add magnets to the feet to be able to stand them on a base without those crappy groin & waist grabbers!! That's well overdue!! There easy to fix as well. Wouldn't take to much effort & would take their figures to the next level.
Yeah the batteries work ok for a while but quickly run out don’t they. Agreed about the grabbers to, I really dislike the waist grabbers and the other grabbers are somewhat restrictive as you can only really have the figure face on. Magnets are a good idea, or rotatable clear grabbers.

I only have the 40th anniversary. ESB Vader hoping to grab afew more at some point! I do think they've done Vader a diservice by not making him alot taller. Darth Vader towers over everyone else in the movies!! David Prowse was 6 ft 6 which is what George Lucus wanted. A menacing figure, a giant of a man whom exumed power & fear with his mear presence!! Having Hot Toys make him pretty much the same as everyone else fails to deliver that!! Would be cool to see them make the Kenobi Vader taller but I doubt they will. I think Vader should be a full head taller so about almost 2inches that would be the height I would like to see him at!! Hopefully the Kenobi Vader is even better than all the rest by far. It's a hard choice picking which Vader is best.
Good point, I’d be interested to know if Hot Toys have used actual height measurements of David Prowse when designing the Vaders now you mention it. Would be expecting K2 or IG sort of height but yeah can’t wait for the Kenobi Vader!

Kenobi Vader has to be the best, more recent usually are better quality/closer to screen. Plus, I know for a fact we have to get an anakin counterpart, for that alone that has to be the best 😂😂
When all said and done I don’t think you can go wrong with any Darth Vader, he is such a commanding figure that your eyes are drawn to him, the diorama with this Vader though is a massive plus point for sure, it really enhances him on the shelf, after a wee delay Paul from CCFL Sabers finished my one for Rey and it’s a brilliant gold/yellow light 💥can send you a picture to view if interested, as for episode 5 of Obi Wan💥….. no spoilers but how brutal is this young Darth Vader? , would love if they released a Reva figure in edition to the Darth Vader from the show, can’t wait for finale🤩thanks for another great video, as always looking forward to more great content when you get the chance, stay well 👍

Could you share where you get your custom ccfl blades from? I need some for my new ESB Vader and Bespin Luke, when he finally arrives. Planning on building my own fully lit diorama of the Carbon Chamber stairs to recreate the scene when they first cross blades, and I need these to really pull that off! I'm in the US, if that is an issue. Thanks bud!

Yeah it’s a tricky one. I would probably say go for the ones you think mean the most to you! What are the figures you absolutely must have in your collection then work towards them. Obviously there’s a lot of factors e.g. budget and whether you want to buy new releases as well as older figures.

I want to get the VGM Snowtrooper 2-pack put on a payment plan ASAP , then get a few lower-priced things bought outright to get reward points with Toys Wonderland to use on fairly expensive stuff. I am having a shed built over the summer, so I’ll order the Snowtroopers in July or August with a payment plan, and then start getting other stuff in the Autumn.
@@DioBrando-jm7uf sounds like a plan. You’ll definitely be paying a premium buying older figures for TW. But at least the payment plan is a great way to do it if you don’t want second-hand. 👍🏻

I thought it was funny that TFA Rey is half the price of Light Side Anakin 🤔 😆 I will look for opportunities for second-hand stuff in good condition but I’ll also need to do the maths on how much the the reward points will be worth from a given purchase on TW. How MUCH are import fees? I know the rules but not the calculation. Is it 20%?
Yeah I’m really tempted for TFA Rey! Seen some great deals! But would then mean I’d have to collect sequel figures which I’m not currently doing! Yeah you’re right, it’s about 20% of the figure & shipping costs combined.
