      @@TheDirtyyoungman1 I used to train with him back in the day. He would occasionally stop into my gym at the time, Elite Muay Thai in Daytona beach, to train with us. I even fought on/been at amateur events he fought in. He was always an arrogant show-boater. Would mock his opponents, etc. People like him because he's very charismatic, but most people are m0r0ns and sheeple so that's hardy surprising. Just how the world works. His character and heart deep down is trash. I remember rolling with him one time, and I took his back and went for a rear-naked-choke, and he pretended like he gave up the position on purpose, as if he allowed me to choke him to help "teach" me or something. Deep down he has a massive ego.

      idk, since Gordon's doing these exhibitions for a while, I think Khabib is a great promotional match up. To say "Khabib would kill GR" or vice versa is way too hard to say. In straight MMA, I'd give Khabib the edge, but GR is world's above MMA guys grappling as we can see here sooooo what happens to Khabib's grappling skill level when he's against the greatest pure grappler of the modern world?

He said, before times of illness, that MMA was in his future and I know that many of us are soo pumped to see him, especially in the UFC I would guess. With his understanding of movement and fluidity, off course his technique, experience and his extremely conditioned physique, we are all excited to see what could be.. Danaher has been against him going into mma, it's different when someone is punching your face in and doesn't just sit on their butt waiting for you to join them in a grappling match. Likely Danaher wouldn't want him to get knocked out at the beginning of a fight,

    • @dannyVulture
      @dannyVulture 3 года назад

      He's probably not wanting for money and opportunities so the same drive isn't there to go and have an MMA career which would probably pay him way less than what he does now until he breaks into top 5. Plus, if he were to go into HW or LHW, it's mostly strikers to watch out for
