Dominic Cruz, TJ Dilashaw, Cain Velasquez all showed solid striking skill. Kevin Randleman was a natural too except he lacked the confidence to use it consistently. Quintin Jackson, Robbie Lawler, Eddie Alvarez, Justin Gaethje, and Michael Chandler certainly can brawl. And most consider Chuck Liddell an excellent striker. Yes he has kickboxing experience but his D1 wrestling got him to UFC level. John Jones pretty damn good at striking. Plenty of others. The idea that better wrestling means worse striking is a myth. Depends on the individual.
I most definitely agree that DC was a high level striker. He could box & kickbox and had tremendous power. One of my favorite athletes of all time. Had he gone into MMA younger he would have accomplished even more and what he did is remarkable. I have him in my top 3 over 200lbs GOAT

I'm trying to figure out how picking up the pace against Bo is a good idea. I mean, if you think your striking skill and timing are so good that pace will help find paydirt with well placed and repeated strikes...Ok I guess. But if you don't take Bo out quick with that, your pace in striking will open you up to a takedown...which is more probable than hurting him bad enough for a finish. Or, you'll fatigue. It's not like taking Bo to deep water is a good idea. Nobody is going to beat Bo by breaking his conditioning. He's going to have the energy to the end, 3 or 5 rounds. If it carries on, it's a bad plan. Mabye...just maybe...picking up the pace would lead to a finish relatively quickly because Bo isn't ready for that strike game yet? That's about the only thing I can think of.
so when Chimaev had his first fights in the UFC everyone called his opponents cans.. well these are Bo's cans accept Chimaev didn't struggle crushing any of them up to Burns..the #2 rank fighter in the division with far more experience, wins and losses, higher level opponents and so on. Bo looks good (as any good fighter would against cans) but doesn't look nearly as ferocious as KC does.
I've got a feeling Paul Craig is going to get Bo with a left head kick like Leon got on Usman because he has a bad tendency of leaning his head right exposed when he throws his left. This might not be a good matchup for Bo all things considered eventhough he has youth on his side PC has experience and more tools imo.
