Great Video explanation!!! Thank you for all the work that you done!!! I would have a few questions did I understand correctly at the beginning of the video that it is recommended to mount the GPS antenna above the front axle? And witch IMU would you recommend the BNO055 or those the new CMPS 14? Does this one work already?
Technically the antenna can be anywhere, but it seems about the best just at the front of the cab about a meter ahead of the pivot point. If building one today, i would definitely suggest the CMPS14. Works very well and helps with an accurate heading - as you have learned from the video, the heading error is quite important - less so then the position error.
@@FarmerBrianTee I hope that the CMPS14 really works that well. I tested it, the position was in the steering box and turned upside down. Sometimes the compass has started turning and almost never stopped. Hopefully it will be with the separate housing better.
Great work. But now it is very important that we determine the direction of the vehicle very precisely. Because then the drift on the slope would also be compensated.

@@FarmerBrianTee Thank you
What arduino settings you have to make for the CMPS14 cytron or ib2?

Yes. Accurate heading/smooth position is very critical. It's amazing how just a few cm or a tenth of a degree can be so important
