We will now go over some common symptoms that TVs can show and what we should look for in greater detail with these symptoms.
Does your TV have standby?
Does the LED light in the front of your TV light up?
Does the front LED blink?
If so, how many times does it blink and what color is the light?
Have you tried plugging the TV into a different outlet? To be sure you don't just have a blown breaker at your house, or wherever the TV is plugged in.
Is the outlet that the TV is plugged into turn on or off by a switch?
Go ahead and give out customer service department a call or you could leave a comment below this video with the details of the symptoms that your TV is displaying.
Please be sure to always include the TV model number, brand and any other information about the TV that is necessary.

Hi, I have Grundig interntet TV 55" LED FullHD 700Hz without tunner, I just bought it and when I opened it and plug the switch in socket it showing nothing just like dead no standby lights. I have also check the socket by using my laptop, printer and mobile chargers it is working even with altogether using extension. So I do not know wether it is power supply problem or what. It strange that new TV have such a problem.
Hi. I have a RCA 42" plama tv screen that no longer works. Model # 42PA30RQ. When I attempt to turn it on, it makes the normal "turn on click", but then clicks 2 more times, the led light remains blue. I hear static brifely, and then nothing... but if i change the channels, i can hear shows. But no picture at all. I've done all your trouble shooting. Can you help?

LG lcd tv model: 32LK310-TA, No power indicator, power supply ok with all the voltages: 24v,12v, and 3.5v comes on when Power supply is switched on independently, when connected to main board it does not switch on to give these voltages apart from the 3.5v which enters the main board, and on the main board the important required voltages like the 1.2v, 1.8v. 3.3v and 3.5V are present after regulator ICs. Main board number: LP91J EAX64045802, So what else can be done to reactivatve this shut down?

I have a Panasonic TC-P50UT-50 plasma that won't turn on after the Time Warner DVR that was connected to it via HDMI shorted out. The DVR shorting out caused a breaker to trip. The DVR and TV were on separate surge protectors, and the DVR was connected to the TV via a 5 port HDMI switcher that was also shorted out. There were no inline HDMI surge protector between the switcher and the TV. When I plug the TV to power I get no lights at all and I can not power the TV on. I need help to diagnose which boards might be involved.

My bluegate 32 inch is on standby but refused to come up, the red light for standby does not change to green that precedes its display rather the red light comes up brighter.
What can I do
(RCA SCENIUM L26WD14) Sound will work for 10 sec then fade out. When powered off TV will have a red stand by light but will not turn green when power bttn is pressed, tv will not turn on would have to UN-plug and plug back in wait 5 sec. then press power bttn on. Now tv will only blink green led light and clicking can be herd from TV PSU. The clicking is very quite but it syncs with the green light flashing. I tried different outlets and even left it UN-plugged for 48hr's with no change.

RCA 46" LED LCD TV / Model LED46C45RD. TV does not turn-on. Red standby LED is illuminated on lower right hand corner of screen. Red light goes our when on button pressed on the remote or TV side controls. Problem started a few months back, requiring repeated pressing of on button... but TV always would turn on after a dozen or more times pressing the on button. Today, TV does not turn on at all. 2000 mitsubishi 60" dlp tv, model # vs-60607. tv won't turn on. green light will come on then off, i hear clicking noises from the back of tv, i took cover off, pinpointed where the clicking was coming from, it's from a black cylindrical part with a wire attached on top of it, that wire connects to a black rectangular/cylindrical part with 3 wires attached at it's top. are these parts blown? however, i pressed the menu and input button to get the code, the green light would blink twice, then pause, then blink twice, then pause for a total of 5 sequences. i searched net for code 22, all i found was "power overload", but code diagram did not offer a solution. should i wait about a week or so with everything unplugged to let it de-energize itself and then try again? i have already waited bout 2 days with this method and still getting same effect. called some local tv repairmen, they have not called back. please help? thanks.
JVC Plasma Display Monitor GD-V4210PCE. No lights. Fans start for 20 seconds and then unit shuts down. Earlier, TV would shut off after getting too hot. I added external stereo system fans to the top (where internal fans are mounted) and system would run indefinitely. Suspect a heat-related malfunction that is now triggering a safety shut-down.

Hi I have a 42” Panasonic tv (not sure of the model number) and for a while if you put it on standby it would take ages to get it off standby and for the tv to turn on. Now it won’t turn on at all. The green on light flickers like usual and making the noise it makes to turn on but then it cuts out and no matter how you try and turn it on (with remote or actual tv) nothing happens. hello i inherrited a 65" v1210 smart tv (Model No. / E65-E1) and it is not turning on. i called their 1-800 # and tried resetting the tv but didnt reset and told, ("me no warrantee to send out to tv repair shop."). anyways, i plug in the tv and about 30 seconds and the "V" insignia comes on the screen however the no power light that maybe around the frame and i also no LED light (red light) that sits in back of the tv next to HDMI outlets . I did the test jump with the jumper on the tcon board and on the power jumper and the tv comes on and goes thru the color adjustments , seems like a good tv. Can u help?
My TV is an older LG. Although it will turn on it only lasts a few seconds and the screen goes black. It does this 3 or 4 times before it goes out and stays out. Not necessarily off just black screen and no sound.

I have a Samsung UN55ES8000FXZA, with a BN44-0523A power board. There was a loud pop and the TV stopped working. I have opened the back and removed the power bd and replaced the main fuse. Second fuse blew straight away. Cant see anything obvious on the board ( like a capacitor or diode burning out)

The set won't completely turn on. When plugged in the power light flashes once quickly then a second time that lasts a second or so then the light goes out for about 2 seconds. Next the light flashes and the power on music begins to play at the same time followed by 4 more flashes about a second apart. All the flashes are RED.
So, there are 2 red flashes then off for about two seconds, followed by power on music and 5 more red light flashes which are about a second apart, then off for about 5 seconds before repeating the cycle.

ONN model ONC50UB18C05 would not turn on one day. TV is 3 years old and has worked perfectly until now. The red LED in the lower left lights up and goes out with both the on/off button and the remote. When off, it will blink when buttons on the remote are pressed, showing that the IR from the remote is being seen. No backlight. Nothing visible with the flashlight test. I've seen advice that the EEPROM could be causing this. Not sure how an SOIC-8 chip with a serial interface could cause the TV to not power up. Doesn't this chip merely hold the setup and channels? Shouldn't the TV, if it can't read the settings at least provide some indication or trouble code? Replacing this SOIC-8, as it is tiny, would be quite a task without a hot-air setup. Is this a common symptom/repair scenario?

For five(5) years nOw.. The probLem is when i gOt turn it ON apter a few seconds it will shot dOwn on its oN..!!! And even you try to ON that TV... still the same story.

M# PN60E7000FF...the tv is on for 15 min then it shuts off and won't go back on...sometimes I just have to unplug the cord and plug it back in and it works again for another 5-10 Minutes...the stand by led blinks twice and makes a clicking sound....I tryed checking if sleep mode,timer,and stand by time is off and not active but it still turn off..I need help is this symptoms of a mother board going out or power supply board
Ok, so I don't know the model or serial number, but it's a Bush TV. It has Standby, but the standby isn't on. I was playing a game on my PS3 (obviously using the TV), but all of a sudden it turned off, not to standby, no. There was no LED light showing. I switched it of by the plug numerous amounts of times, but no result. I couldn't hear a pop from a blown fuse because I had my headset on, however I tried the change the fuse anyway... No result. HELP ME!
I have a 10 year old Toshiba DLP THeatrewide 65 in. I have replaced bulbs several times and thought it was the bulb again needing replacement but bulb isn't blown. It looks foggy but is intact. TV wont' come on, blinks 1 red, followed few secs later by 9 greens, Shuts off and repeats same. Red firstm then red on plus 9 greens ,shuts off. Then starts same process over and over unless I turn it off. Is it the lamp? THanks Steffie

It is doing NOTHiNg! I've unplugged, plugged into different outlets, left it unplugged for over an hour, tried holding down reset button and power button. It just isn't doing anything. Any ideas?
Hello,, I have a samsung UN60EH6050F that I believe has a bad main board. The picture keeps pixelating then the screen goes black and the tv resets. It happens on both hdmi inputs and I have already swapped out the HDMI cable. Any further troubleshooting suggestions?

i have a samsung tv model # PN43D450A2D THAT WILL NOT TURN BUT THE RED LIGHT IS IN THE FRONT OF THE TV. THE TV MAKES A CLICKING SOUND BUT DOES NOT TURN ON. Sir I have LG 32LN4900 LED TV. But now it is gives problem that after on the TV it is working then after sometimes screen has blacked out.if u leave then it is automatically restore after sometimes.when blacked out no sound no picture at all.is the problem is power supply board? Pl. Advice.
