At the 57:00 minute mark he was right because in this example she should have said “ON” the stage or “ON stage” but it is perfectly fine to say “IN” the stage if referring to a period of time. Example-He was in the stage of his life when he was trying to decide if he wanted to start working or pursue his master’s degree. He was ok to correct her specific example but it is sometimes OK to say “IN the stage” when referring to a point in time. It’s good to be clear in all potential scenarios. Although he was right in correcting her, it is acceptable to say in the stage sometimes as well.

This is a great example on how many non-native English speakers will attempt to speed-up their English level from a A2-B1 to a B2 level in such a quick manner that they will try to focus their practice on fluidity but forgetting the most basic and/or intermediate structures of English. Marina seems to be able to carry on a conversation by understanding the speaker, but she replies with lots of grammatical mistakes. This also seems to happen when people will try to reach a B2 level in English for Customer Service jobs overseas, with no previous knowledge of basic English grammar. P.s. I love this channel! ❤

Примитивно как то всё понимаете. Они ставят на место comon senseless "teacher" на место, чтобы не "учила" не правильно..И вообще глупо учится не от native speakers 🤣...Я раньше её ролики смотрел из за Америки или про Америку, а учится языку только от native, а не от сапожников...sorry 😀

I try to learn english only from native english speakers, but the problem is that those native speakers , many times. dont know what could be a good way to learn a new language. I mean if you know english is ok but that does not mean that you know how to learn a new language. in my opinion all of these teachers do a good job because they teach things that could help you to learn a new language. and at the end of the day if you say something like "i met a dog" 100% of english speakers will understand you. your english cant be perfect all the time.
