Good video, my opinion Jotaro part 6 would lose to Pucci MIH. But Jotaro at his prime (End of Part 3) would defeat Pucci. Especially the fact that Pucci relies heavily on speed.

This fight is actually a crazy stomp. Pucci spent most of Stone Oncean's runtime preparing for every possible encounter as The Heaven Plan was what his entire life built up to. PLUS Pucci had Jotaro's memories, meaning he knew exactly how timestop works, it's effective range, how long it lasts, AND how fast Jotaro could use it in succession, so Pucci, the guy who literally spent his entire life planning this out had exact knowledge of how Jotaro's ability worked.
Even if he didn't, he closely knew DIO and his stand The World so he would know of the ability regardless.

I think MiH pucci is a great example that shows how beneficial it can be just to have one massive advantage over your opponent even if it's just in one stat in a versus Battle the only way I can think of a character winning against the character it has even one stat massively higher than them is though hax or weird character interactions.

You underestimate the seemingly limitless power of Over Heaven. The World Over Heaven has infinite time stop so it stands to reason Star Platinum Over Heaven would also, which is already a blatant L for Made in Heaven. Even without Time Stop, there is never any implied limit to the reality overwrite ability (other than requiring physical contact through fists). So, for all we know Jotaro could punch a stone with Star Platinum Over Heaven and rewrite it to be a button that when pressed disables time acceleration. He doesn't need to directly attack Pucci. I mean, reality overwrite is the same ability that completely negs GER's ability. There is pretty much no limits to an ability that can rewrite reality to the user's will.
I can imagine a scenario where pucci just goes around in circles and jumps around in the air to bait jotaro, or just cut his head off completely💀
I can imagine a scenario where Star Platinum uses Star Finger, but Pucci just cuts it off and Jotaro screams in pain, blood gushing from the stumps of his fingers.

Logistically speaking, the outcome of this matchup would change completely based on the setting. Jotaro was vulnerable in every canonical instance of the fight do to the fact that A: The time acceleration had already reached a point where Pucci was faster than a speeding bullet and furthermore fast enough to walk on water, and B: Jotaro was in the wide open in every single fight with nothing to his advantage, and thus greatly vulnerable to a wide range of lethal attacks. With these circumstances it would be foolish to think that Jotaro could have a prayer at beating Pucci without of course getting lucky, but on the other side of the debate, if the fight took place somewhere where Jotaro had a smaller field of view that Pucci could possibly attack from such as a hallway or corner, or even the chance to use the star finger technique used in part 4, (which would make Pucci's route of attack much more dangerous and complicated) along with the fact that it would be in instant KO for Pucci if it paired with a properly timed time freeze as the objects base speed (which would already be faster than a bullet) would be multiplied by the number in which times movement is being multiplied by during the acceleration, than it is not a crazy to think that Jotaro would be able to beat Pucci. Another thing to keep in mind is that Jotaro went into the canonical fight with minimal knowledge of who he was dealing with whilst Pucci had been preparing for this moment since Dio's death as he knew exactly how the time freeze worked, and how to use leverage to buy himself time by using Jolyne. I can pretty confidently say that Jotaro is one of the most intelligent characters in the entire series, so if he actually had time to get ready for the fight, he would most certainly be at a strategic advantage. At the end of the day we cant really say one is stronger than the other because that's simply not true. They each have their strengths and weakness that could be nullified or exploited based upon the theoretical setting of their fight.
Also keep in mind that Jotaro managed to stop time for 5 seconds whilst MiH's effect was active.
And then still kept it at 5 seconds when the acceleration... Accelerated.
Which mean theoretically he could’ve had a maximum limit of 10 seconds had the flow of time been normap
And then he dies to an eleven-year-old kid who stole a dead guy's crazy op stand

In a straight up regular death brawl, Pucci wins pretty much everytime unless Jotaro decides to like randomly stop time to see if he luckily stops Pucci just before he is about to get blitzed.
I think if the intention was for Jotaro to win, it would still logically be possible if given the correct scenario. A lot of Stand battles are decided by hyper situational scenarios, so it isn't too out of the ordinary for this to happen. Jotaro would need to create a scenario in which he's able to avoid damage while also getting close enough to use an ambush Time Stop. He would need the correct location and a next level galaxy brain plan to pull this off though, but there are certainly win conditions 1v1 for Jotaro, just very situational.
what about Jotaro punches himself with star platinum in order to get close and catch Pucci by surprise and stops time once he's close enough while the priest is "ayo wtf"

That proves he doesn't really need to do that. And he only hid for like one minute before slitting Jotaro's neck, and only because he was figuring out how his stand worked still.
The thing people don't realise that even though Jotaro was in his prime in part 3 his time stop was only 5 seconds right at the end... while during part 6 he stops time while MIH is active... he can stop it for 5 seconds as we see in the final time stop, it is like this after we see him realises that time stop is way shorter, so Jotaro in Part 6 is less strong but he is able to stop time for long or at least hold a longer time stop so since that is his main ability he does lose no matter what, unless he reveals how MIH is the same type of stand as Star Platinum ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
edit: Jotaro could of won if the punch he landed on pucci's head actually made sense, like dio in part 3 got hit with a punch like that which broke his skull, and pucci just got up like nothing happened
Pucci's gravitational deflector shield was still active, remember? the one that jolyne couldn't break through in her fight with C-moon? It must have just numbed the impact of star platinum's punch. If anything, its just a feat of star platinum ridiculous strength, not even stone free could break his gravity barrier.

@nogamer3033 Pucchis gravity shield was a really weird thing they added in the anime. It is not in the manga in any way. I personally believe the reason why Star Platinum didn't kill Pucchi with that punch is because Jotaros physical and mental state had deteriorated severely from being in a coma for so long. The manga does make mention that his health status is unknown.
@@lukewalkerr2d2 That is the true reason, but pucci explains the gravity shield in the Manga as well, it's just never used. Ofc, jotaro's metal trauma and ptsd is one of the reasons why he did not instantly murder pucci. So the shield was present in the Manga, it just never came into use.

I think its not that it got better, maybe his time acceleration progress "saves" (ex: he has FTL speed before time acceleration ends, when he accelerate time again, he will start with FTL and go even beyond)

The only way for "jotaro" to win is if it's a 2v1 with the third person being anasui protecting jotaro and following the original plan.
Araki said Star Platinum has strongest stand ability. I agree, but Made In Heaven has much bigger chance to win , but still Jotaro still has some chances. (Same goes for Za Warudo)
The world has much much better chance to win, it's peak time stop is nearly twice as long and Dio is basically impossible to one shot.
Also if I remember correctly the world's range is much better than star platinum's

It makes no sense. C-Moon could manipulate gravity and since gravity and time are interlocked, it makes sense why Pucci can move. MiH is a mastery of that ability and manipulates gravity in such a way that time accelerates. If it still manipulates gravity, why can't it move in ts? My best guess is that MiH gravity hyperfixates on the speed of the universe while ignoring everything else.

Lightspeed punches from Star Platinum were of 0 problem to Pucci, except within Timestop. But due to Pucci being able to accelerate timestop, Jotaro wouldn't really do anything to Pucci within it. He only came close to beating Pucci due to team effort, not by himself.
Also, even if you make the argument that Pucci is only bullet train speed during the beginning, Jotaro's movement speed is only that of a human. Star Platinum's combat speed definitely is faster than Pucci's speed at the beginning, but Jotaro's own movement speed won't help him catch Pucci. Pucci can just run and hide till he's faster than Jotaro in every scenario.
Pucci literally had everything including his fight with jotaro planned out. Prep time is what made Pucci win, he's basically Batman

I think this is a Diavolo vs pre-awakened Dio situation where whoever uses their ability first wins. In a pure 1 on 1 fight with only Jotaro vs Pucci, if Jotaro time stops before Pucci can speedblitz him, he wins. If not, Pucci wins.
While yes, Pucci is prepared, the best strategy he found in over 2 decades was to force Jotaro to protect his daughter instead of shoot for the greater good and kill him. Pucci could very well speedblitz him, but as seen in the MIH fight, that’s not really Pucci’s M.O.

A guy with DIO's powers VS A guy who had obtained the powers DIO wanted to become more powerful.
Yes, I am aware of The World Over Heaven, but although Araki gave permission to create Eyes of Heaven, he didn't actually create it or confirm if DIO would've gotten The World Over Heaven if he obtained heaven. Using this logic, I guess we can assume that DIO would've gotten an ability similar to Made in Heaven if he defeated the crusaders and finished his destiny.

The only way that "Prime Jotaro" has a better chance is if the hypothetical arguer felt he had plot armor in part 3 and tried to use meta arguments like that. Ok so I've thought of something, and it might be stupid, but I never personally saw people talk about it, I'm actually happy part 6 ended like this, so I wouldn't change anything but what if Jotaro simply picked up some random rocks and threw them while time was stopped, when times flow again they would be in the same time speed as Pucci and also have Star platinum's strength behind it.

Jotaro is 100% nerfed in late Part 6 and it's confirmed. SP's stats are literally changed in the mih fight: Durability or Staying is dropped from A to E and Potential from A or Complete to C (check chapter 149 of the manga). So Prime Jotaro actually exists (the one with his old stats)

Look, let me explain. Yes, Pucci is fast, but if we are talking about Jotaro after defeating Dio, Jotaro can stop time for at least 5 seconds while being injured gravely thanks to Dio. Even with fighting Jotaro P6, Pucci was still cautious because he couldn’t move in TS. And the argument that Time Acceleration lowers TS is so inconsistent. At one point, Jotaro P6 had his TS lowered by like a second or two, and the next he has his full 5 seconds no changes. Plus, SP is much stronger than SPSO. With all of these into account, Jotaro could at the very least damage Pucci gravely or even kill him if he got a good TS in. MIH is fast, but Jotaro has a ability that not even Pucci can bypass. And yes, before you say it, Jotaro P3 is obviously going to have more durability than P6. P3 Jotaro had his ribs broken multiple times and a knife right into his head and he was still alive and strong enough to kill Dio. But in my opinion, Jotaro P3 can maybe kill Pucci if he got a good TS in.
I agree that MiH acceleration lowering TS is inconsistent (blame Araki), but it DID happen is the point, and on Jotaro’s first TS no less, also Jotaro didn’t get less durable throughout the series. Other than that you didn’t really say much of value in this comment that I haven’t already talked about in the video

What about Iggy, Petshop, So Remefasolito, or even turtlenerf/Coco Jumbo versus MiH Pucci? All them should always be moving faster then Pucci due to the logic of Heaven's acceleration.

Nah, in the guidebook it states he can time stop for 5 seconds by the end of the DIO battle/18 years old. In part 4, he stresses that his time stop got shorter due to a lack of using it for 10 years.
When people talk about "prime" Jotaro, I think they mean when he had plot armor. You give anyone plot armor and they win.

In Cape Canaveral jotaro collapsed in timestop after having his throat slit and might have been able to fight more normally without his nerf to muscle mass.
Part 6 star platinum is probably stronger than part 3 though, since jojoveller says Crazy Diamond surpassed star platinum, and part 6 SP goes beyond that.

Against MiH it depends on circumstances, but in most cases Jotaro still wins as long as the battle is fair. MiH doesn't start with big speed, it needs time to accelerate fast enough and become op. Jotaro would just stop time at the beginning and kill him. He also only needs a brief moment to stop time again. In the show, Pucci started accelerating the moment he got MiH. Jotaro and others were transported to another location and unconscious during that time, because of forced writing. Pucci only attacked them after he reached the speed he needed. That is why in a normal fair fight he would get destroyed by Jotaro, since Jotaro can just stop time at the beginning. Pucci would never even get a chance to reach a big speed and become op.
Also, without nerf, Pucci's plot armor, general forced writing of stone ocean and all, Jotaro can do so much in stopped time. He can use star finger, he can throw dozens of bullets/knives that would get accelerated once time starts moving again (Pucci wouldn't even know Jotaro threw them), he can blind Pucci with blood, he can jump and stay in the air and then move through it like in the part 3 (the gravity is different in stopped time).
Also, Jotaro's battle Iq is much higher, other Joestars and many other characters are also smarter. Immature fanboys think that realizing a father would do anything to protect his daughter makes you smart. Most of Pucci's feats happened only because of his plot armor and general forced writing of stone ocean in any case..

but the problem with this argument is that every fight, whether real life or fiction, are not fair. You are basically nerfing Pucci which is against the basis that every character in a fair 1v1 should be on their strongest and nerfing 1 of the characters makes it more unfair. Oh and don't underestimate Pucci's intelligence cause if he knows that Jotaro can Stop time then he will just run away till he is pretty fast for Jotaro to React.
