This was my grandfather's favorite song, he said it reminded him of his two daughters when he was away. This was also my mother's funeral song. Thank you for doing that such Justice.

I'm an old man who grew up hearing that in Czeck. It is on old Eastern European song. Not just the tune but the lyrics too.. It is such a beautiful song. It is so good that it became such a hit here. I think first American I heard sing it was Hank Williams in early 50's... Willy Nelson took it a ran with it...
