His collaborations with fellow musicians, whether of the same ilk or not, draws so much love, comfort, and peace. Angels, yes, that they are. Thank you! I discovered John Prine about 20 years ago and it was like finding gold. Mining magic music and song was John. His Sam Stone song really bowled me over. I only discovered Amos Lee a few days ago and this fine is equally important to me. Music and song like the arts are very personal to each person. I am so glad that I have 'met' these two.

I saw Amos Lee open for John Prine on the “Fair and Square” album tour 14-15 years ago. Amos had to read the lyrics for a couple of John’s songs to close out the night but did just fine. He appears to have gotten even better.
