  • Portable photo printers do what it says on the tin, print photos...portably. Today I'm taking a look at the Polaroid Snap Touch, the Fujifilm Instax Mini Link, and the Canon Selphy CP1300. One uses Zink instant photo paper, another Instax instant film, and the last uses regular photo paper but uses dye sublimation to make the print.

    One of the better reviews I have seen. I especially like the fact that you included a picture of Text in the review! Great job.

    A guy wearing a Nintendo shirt, included Paper Mario as a test for the photos, AND Game Boy? 11/10
    But for real though, thanks for making a video like this covering the different types of portable printers out there. It definitely warms my heart as a gamer to see games playing a part of other hobbies and passions I'm currently interested in.
    Well done man!

      They are a ton of fun. I will say the ones I still use are the Instax and the Canon. Don't really use the polaroid anymore.

    Hi! What year was the firmware update for the Polaroid Snap Touch? The apps don't work with newer Android / iOS versions it seems.

    I think the Canon is the one for me even though it has so much gear.
    Love the alter ego BTW

    Thank you, very informative but I would like to know how many photos do they print? Do they need a change of cartridge? What does it cost to run?

    • @AdultsHaveToysToo
      @AdultsHaveToysToo  2 года назад +1

      Those are great basics I probably should have covered, lol. I was trying to stay away from the spec sheet and focus more on the experience. One cool thing is that the Fuji and Polaroid don't need cartridges at all, the magic is in the paper/film, and while the Canon does need a cartridge it comes with the paper and is dry so it never drys out. Packs of 10 for Polaroid and Fuji, the Canon is packs of 54 or 108.

    That Gameboy printer... who needs instant film or 6x4 dye-sublimation prints when you can have teeny dot-matrix prints?

    I don't think the beginning skit is good... Honestly it made me less interested in the entire video because of it. I think if your content was more serious-based I think it would fly more. The rest of the video was really good though, the angles are great and keeps the video dynamic because sitting in the same spot would make this less desirable to watch, but you did good! And you also made me interested in the product, I have always been interested in polaroid cameras, becasue I would use them just for true important moments, only 1 photo per moment to make it even more valuable. Jeez now I want to buy one HAHAHA.
    Also, nice shirt ;)

      Honesty is always very much appreciated! I added some bookmarks to make the skit easier to skip. I've really been liking my instax things, recently added the SQ6 instant camera to my collection too.
