They also may have other attributes that make him overcome the bigger fighter. His father is Italian, so Taimak will never understand or be in touch with his black side. Your argument may be valid when dealing with scrubs because an undersized but better fighter would beat a heavier fighter with bad technique. But if there isn't a big disparity in technique and training (like amongst world class boxers) you better know weight classes matter.
