It's fascinating to me to rewatching the earlier seasons now that I know what's coming. I can just sit back & enjoy without making myself crazy trying to figure everything out. They didn't really know where they were going in Season 1. Yes, it's slow compared to Season 6, but still full of treasures. The Kettlemans. Mike's 5-O episode. Slippin' Jimmy flashbacks. It's all good...
I found Jimmy’s struggles remaining a straight lawyer way more compelling than the Mike & Gus cartel shenanigans. The show was even better than Breaking Bad in the first few seasons when it wasn’t trying to tie into the Walter White timeline. Season 6 took the biggest nosedive, it still wasn’t bad, just could’ve been a lot better, it REALLY forced the connective tissue. I really liked Saul Gone though.

It only gives off the right feeling. In Season 1 Jimmy was struggling to be a legitimate lawyer and figured out everything step by step as well.
