Jimmy and Mike are inseparable. They have a mutual, and professional, disrespect for each other.
lol, true
Mutual means for each other
@@carltonascarf7694 No it doesn't. Make and Jimmy could have a mutual respect for the law. They couldn't have an each other respect for the law.

Yup, I'm sure out of all the thieves and killers he mixed up with, Dirty Cops were the worst to him.
yes, and it means very little coming from an ex-crooked cop who decided to become an enforcer to a drug kingpin

Sopranos nod.
The man was an interior decorator.
The entire character of Juan Bolsa is a direct nod to Sopranos (Johnny Sack) and also Walt's cancer surgeon is the same actor who played Dr. Kennedy (Junior Sopranos cancer surgeon). Vince Gilligan admits he loves Sopranos and it was a big influence on him.
I don't really think it was specifically a Sopranos nod. The mafia notoriously used the pine barrens as a body dumping ground because it was such a vast uninhabited piece of wilderness.

mike was way smarter in better call saul, in BB he is just a hitmen with some detective skill

The exact moment when Mike told Jimmy to "Get a clue", that's when Saul truly became a Goodman.
Nah. Jimmy became Saul after his best friend died.
You mean when Jimmy truly became Saul.
mike gave saul a case example "nobody wants to leave their home". mike gave walt a case example "never leave work half done". mike is most experienced char in the series.
he should have taken his own advice considering he died while fleeing from his home and he died because he continued taking half measures by leaving walter alive again and again
Gus would have also likely failed had he not listened to Mike during this series, in BCS we see Gus is much more quicker to act compared to how he was in BB. It's Mike's consultation that basically helped Gus's plans come to fruition

The tipping point was the cop putting his hand on Mike's arm.

Mike and Jimmy make such an interesting duo because they're both very street smart, cynical, and talented in their respective professions but their backgrounds and cognitive orientations are disparate enough that they can cover for each other's weakspots.
That Cowboys, Steelers Super Bowl was in Tempe, Arizona at ASU Sun Devil stadium.

I have always gotten the impression that Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks fucking HATE each other in real life, so every scene where they are combatitive always feels insanely authentic to me.

Uh ... "Caul?"
He layed a finger on his shoulder in a non harmfull kind of way because mike was being a douche to him and in return he got his arm twisted in the most uncomfortable position ever. In what world, should this "non proportional and unecessary kind of defence" should even be allowed, and how the fuck do you end up as the guilty one as a bonus. Your analysis of the situation is really bad if you see Mike's self defense as disproportional.

Notice how he bites his lip.
Throughout BB/BCS that has always been Mikes way of none verbally tell someone that he disapproves of something & would actually resolve the situation differently, or is disgusted by someone/something.
He too bites his lips & looks away as well when Tuco asked for his wallet, for hitting his car in Better Call Saul.
And does the same thing when Kai, one of the german workers called Werner Ziegler weak, and that he understands why Mike would have killed him.
Or when Walt tells Mike about his plan to murder Gus in the bar.

Give this scene; he is, literally, in the middle of a police station since he's not right next to an exit.
