But F1 fans are weird... Saying ''I want more battling and aggressiveness'', then refusing categorically to get rid of the race with the least amount of overtaking ever : Monaco. Yes the circuit is challenging and fun to watch in qualifying, but in the race? It's all single file until someone hits a barrier, then it's more single file, except at that point it's behind a safety car. Cars are too long and wide nowadays for that track.

Vettel used everything out of his ERS to make up the time before he pitted (+2sec down to Hamilton) and (+24sec I think for the pitstop). After that Vettel got past him when Hamilton came out of the pits and when Hamilton went for it Vettel didn't had any ERS anymore to defend. I didn't say Hamilton is bad, but plz stop doing like he's a god or something just because he again overtook Vettel, first look at the facts and not only on what happened. this was his first year at F3 right off the much slower BMW ADAC series, call it a dismal 5th place overall but unknowst to many he was rookie of the year at just 16 yrs of age. the next year he was runner-up to di resta narrowly missing by 11 points, but as niki lauda said, vettel turning his focus to BMW Sauber towards the end caused him the championship although you really can't blame any aspiring F1 driver for that. 2007 he fills in for an injured robert kubica, his performance of which was enough for toro rosso to fire scott speed and give vettel the phone call. gets his first win in 2008 then runner up in 2009. world champion 2010-2013. everything went fast for him. i guess he's really hard-wired to be quick.

    My opinion
Vettel - pure racing driver who has a will to win at all costs. keeps his private life seperate from his professional life. doesn't use any kind of social media to ensure this. always determined and focused on his next race or season (e.g only driver to visit pirelli factory, at the end of every gp weekend he immediately flies back to work on the simulator for the next race)
Hamilton - wants to be a celebrity and leave behind a legacy in Formula 1, unable to keep private and professional lives separate. posts a few stupid things on twitter on occasion. head drops when he's having girl trouble.
They're both fantastic drivers in their own right. Maybe Hamilton would beat Vettel in the same car, but I know which one I support.
