this is my go-to dish when I don't know what to make, I always have the ingredients in the fridge or freezer! Please make more videos? They are so easy to follow :D
Think about the chicken I ate in the 80's. The lady that made it would never tell how she fixed it. Hope you will know what it is. I get such a craving for it to this day. The bones were so soft you could almost eat them. Green onions and soy sauce was in it. To me it smelled horrible while baking. That is. about all I remember.
Soy sauce is an essential seasoning ingredient in Korean cuisine as is the case in most other Asian countries. It adds delicious savory taste and saltiness to the dish, hence no salt needed. Although we use it in many dishes, not all Korean food has soy sauce. The sugar adds slight sweetness to the dish while balancing out the saltiness a bit. The authentic flavor profile of this dish is slightly sweet and savory.

sugar and the syrup.... doesnt that make it too sweet?
(btw... my mum also does that to the carrots :D and we are portuguese!!) :D ;)
It's not that sweet. Just enough to balance everything well together.
Instead of wine and mushroom soup is there any substitute?
You can simply omit rice wine, but not sure what you mean by mushroom soup.
The mushroon soup isn't actually soup, just the water she had from soaking the dried mushrooms
What size is that le creuset?
hmm very small. 2 qt maybe.

Why all korean food have soya sauce? Is it healthy? And no added salt but u add sugar why? Why can we eat with sweetness?

Please do not ever wash your chicken like that
Potatoes 🥔 won’t go with it 🤔
