George Chronister, the son of Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister, was sentenced Wednesday to nearly two years in prison for his role in a 2017 brawl where he stabbed another man in the face.

As stated in the video this young man was part of a separated family.
I can tell you as a dad who had virtually no control of my kids who chose to live with their mom because she had no rules… It’s IMPOSSIBLE !!! for a separated dad to raise his kids right when they live with someone else and the sheriff basically shouldn’t be much if any part of this story.
As dads we do the best we can but we’re not magicians.
Maybe the law should give dads 100% control of how our children are raised if people want to hold dads responsible for everything.
My brother is in the same situation. His separated wife created a monster daughter.

Two years is nowhere near enough for this terrible crime.
Funny how the kids of public officials get leniency in crimes they commit or no charges at all. Seen this numerous times with people I went to school with who's mom was the clerk of court and the kid robbed a bunch of houses, jumped people with his friends and got into a drunken car wreck that killed two other people in the car with him. He got off by blaming the other guy who survived the wreck by claiming his friend was driving yet it was his DNA on the driver's airbag. His friend got something like 20 years. It's crazy how these kids get leniency only because they're parents work for the county.
