these animations are in a really weird state of being polished yet unpolished, but i dig them
The vanilla fe animations are made by an experienced professional who's cutting corners because theyre on a tight deadline
the custom animations are made by people who have less experience/skill, but have as much time as they want to add many little details

this is very good and the effort is appreciated but honestly its a double edged sword because the micromovements and thorough amount of frames (which is alot of workload and its commendable) makes the anims stand out and not fit in terribly well unfortunately
This is a even a problem with some of the Sacred Stones classes. Maybe the FE6 animations need a bit of updating too.
I really liked the berserker roar in their crit. Really amplifies the feel of a battle-frenzy for the class

These are pretty good, though Prosel's Royal Chopper crit feels a little too "extra" (in my opinion, of course).
Rather than complementing the critical blow, it feels like the flurry of punches and kicks are meant to compete with the axe for your attention (and the kill).
I'd suggest something like a rush forward with a hard gut punch (to stun the enemy) followed by a powerful spinning backhand with the axe, if you wanted to include hand-to-hand alongside the weapon.

Mostly the slight costume changes. The headband, the jacket and the ponytail are all custom made. While not far from vanilla, it does require they get added separately, so it's unique in that regard.
Great animation! One question, I'm having trouble playing this game. I already uploaded the file, but the emulator are not working. Every time when I checked the file, it says I don't have any apps that can open the file. What is the problem?
these are nice put many of the animations are missing polish and certain animation fundamentals. Maybe it's the frame rate, but it feels like there's a lot of missing frames or follow throughs.
I'm just trying my hand a sprite work but these all look awesome. I like the extra small details added to the archer. The breath before the crit adds more to the "wind-up" before the actual attack if that makes any sense. I think some people saying they don't fit are comparing the animations a little too much to the gba originals. If these animations were part of their own game with it's own style instead of a rom hack there would be less comparisons.

These are solid. They need polish, but you don't need to make drastic changes for these to be REALLY good.

Ok, Fulshir does have an amazing crit. But the normal attack seems odd... The left arm seems like it's shaking a bit too much.

The anatomy on the first axe fighter looks very noodley and strange. The stances look uncomfortable.
No offense to anyone but the original sprites are good enough what we NEED IS GOOD STORYTELLING
