Game Description:

I didn't know there were alternate outcomes to this mission. Hell I didn't even know you could hide, I thought being caught by Henry while walking around was the only way to escape
I thought something similar. I didn't know that there were other outcomes to this. I just got lost found the balcony window and randomly stumbled into the laundry room and escaped that way. And honestly I think that one works the best in terms of Gameplay Because in all the other ones when you escape, Henry doesn't shoot at you Wow you drive off
Mine was the reverse all i knew was the hiding spots and the laundry escape. I had no idea you can wait for Henry to come upstairs and sneak out the front under his nose. This is the game that keeps on giving

I just realized, this is the only cutscene in Mafia 2 where we see Vito die (Like a death cutscene)

What the balcony is not the only way to escape? Man this game is mind blowing, also great video, finally someone covering the most out of it! Anyway love how Leo is so old and tired of the mob life that he doesn't really care if he lives or dies.

This is the one spot you can make any sort of choice tho lol

Bonus tip: You can stand directly in-front of the guard in the escape out of the front door option and he won't do anything, however, get behind a car and shoot in any direction and Henry and the other guard will come out shooting. Leaving out the gate will make them disappear even if they are in your line of view.
The balcony rope escape breaks the game's plot: Henry sees Vito take him away and fails his initiation mission. The canon outcome would be Leo negotiating his freedom
Go out thru the front with out getting caught knock his partner out and leave
I thought also that the Falcone family assumed that Leo was tipped off and fled and that really isn’t Henry’s fault and the guys Henry brought would back him up.
Vito says afterwards that Falcone still brought Henry into the family even though he failed. Canon was maintained
Well, Henry saw somebody driving Leo away, but he probably either didn’t get a good enough look, or maybe he knew all along and just didn’t say anything, just like how in the caught/negotiation version of events he decides to not say anything about you being there and let you get away.

Wow, for over 10 years I had no idea there were multiple ways to escape, I thought you could only escape through the balcony with bed sheets.
Getting caught by Henry is the best option, it adds a lot of depth to his character.
I love how there are so many options. I literally had no idea what to do, so I just tried going out the front door and got caught.

The time frame that I can see is before leo got out of can or in Chapter Nine - Balls and Beans when vito joins the Falcone family

I knew about when you get caught in plain sight (happened to me because Leo glitched out) and escaping out the window but i never knew there was this many options

I guess hiding was too good to be true and successful (but made up for hilarious cutscenes. My first instinct was to escape round back on the balcony. but i missed the dialogue where they said they needed sheets to get down ( im like you guy s can make that jump). so i was standing around the living room area having no idea where the sheets/ towels were.

@@RUclipsHatesJapaneseLetters96 Well, considering that Vito is a veteran I think he should be experienced about evading enemies, so getting cought in the staircase would be so dump of him. I definetely vote for escapeing, but than a cutscane is necessarly, so the balcony seems the most reasonable. But until offical confirmation everything is possible

In my opinion the harddest mission on this game. You need speed to get to leo's house and sooner or later police'll go after vito for speeding, mfs kept caughting up right on leo's gate, then I would fail. But its done
