So, because the main part of my channel is full flights, it doesn't really make sense for me to take flights that I wouldn't be able to upload in their entirety.
@@ayushghosh1155 interesting you say that! According to GE's official history book, which I totally recommend 💯, the CF34-8 has some major components that are derived from fighter jet engines. These major components consist of the blisks that comprise the first three stages of the high pressure compressor (adopted from the F414 fighter jet engine), the multi-holed combustor design (derived from the F414 and GE90) and the single-crystal high pressure turbine blades (drawing from experience gained on the CFM56-7 and F110 fighter jet engine).
It was great until Breeze cancelled our flight home and decided not to offer a recovery flight. Stranding my family and I, as well as 93 other people in Tampa. They gave us $150 each and said good luck finding your way home. And the cheapest other flight going to XNA was $300 each. So... Not very happy with Breeze at the moment.
I personally think its underwhelming and dissapointing when they don't kick in some reverse thrust upon landing, bc in the seat you were in you would have gotten some good thundering noise!

@@kennyvilbert4608 8L is technically open. It's being resurfaced and it's currently being closed in sections. To accommodate the work on the west end of the runway, they have significantly shortened the open portion of the runway. So, they aren't landing any aircraft on it. I was there recently and they occasionally sent a Hawaiian 717 or Southeast 737 to 8L for departure, but no arrivals. And the arrival view is best part of 8L. So I'm waiting until the full runway is back open and they are back to using it the way they used to.
WOWOWOWOW!! The ICT terminal building looks very nice, very upbeat. I've never been to Witchita, or in the State of Kansas for that matter. I love the flight attendant!! She's more like what you'd expect to see on a Southwest flight rather than AK. Note her use of gender inclusive language with words like "Y'all". Southerners have figured this all out long ago. Anyhow, it looks like you probably went over WY and ID and over Eastern and Central WA. Good view of Hwy 509 coming into SEA. Good view of Blake Island (Tillicum Village). And good view of Arbor Lake and Burien. Historically, Burien was where most of the Boeing employees lived. If you had come to Seattle a month earlier, you would've had to deal with the big ice storm that clobbered us. Unlike PDX, ice storms are just about unheard of here because the Sound prevents them from forming. But on the week approaching X-Mas, there was a crack in the Sound's invincible armor, and the air currents seized the opportunity and we got hit. The ice was so treacherous that ALL of the buses shut down. Just about EVERY office was closed. So was just about every store. Jeez, even the MAIL stopped running! The ice was so bad that I couldn't even make it to our trash and recycle cans! Much less any place beyond them. My GF sensibly stayed inside all day. never stepped out at all. So... now, it's time for me to rest up from the jet lag. I think I will go watch the movie M3GAN while I'm recuperating. :)
I thought the same thing about the flight attendant. I do always appreciate happy crew members though. Also, since Wichita is the largest airport in the state of Kansas, it is my home state's most used airport. The new terminal is a huge step up compared to what it used to be. I flew out of Wichita a lot as a kid, and I wish I'd had a camcorder back then to document it. The old terminal is all torn down now. Living on in memories and the few random pictures you can find out there.

Sometimes. I actually love music, but I don't listen to music very often on flights. I tend to watch things more on flights.

At the moment, I don't hav any plans to fly to Honolulu. Which is unusual for me haha. I'm trying to wait until the runway at HNL is open again.
