Everything by Bitter Melon Bindery is so beautiful, inspiring, and artful in every detail. I've nevel liked everything from anywhere before; this is a first.
It’s amazing to watch you work. Your books are beautiful! I love the decorative paper you use on the sketchbooks for the covers. Where do you get it from? Thank you for sharing your process. I really admire how you turned your love for bookbinding into a career! I would love to do that, too! Please don’t stop posting these videos on RUclips. You’re so inspiring! 💓
Thank you Sarah :) The covers are made of Chiyogami and Lokta papers. I can't share where I personally get them but there are multiple vendors if you search on Google or Etsy! Hope that helps.
Your books are so beautiful and you make the binding process look so easy. Your studio looks so nice and tidy that it makes me feel like I am going to make a lot of books as well. By the way, how to you make the lines and dots on the pages... do you use a special program to do this? xx
Wow. I’ve not seen library checkout cards for a long time! This brings back good memories. Can’t wait to see the books show up in your store. Will you be taking custom orders for specialty papers? I shared previously in one of my comments that I’ve learning book binding too after watching you and Das’s videos. I’ve been wondering if it really matters to wear gloves throughout the process especially when handling specialty papers. I know papers can be sensitive to oil from our hands and products we use on our skin/hands. I tried wearing gloves to avoid direct contact with the papers. But it’s honestly difficult and inconvenient. Any thoughts and advice?
beautiful I want to do it today. How many sheet totally? I think you put 8 packs of leaves? and I don't understand how you manage to cut the edge without cutting the cover cardboard :-)
Good afternoon 👋☺️ bitter melon bindery 🌹 looking forward to hearing your store is open I so want to buy a book made by you one question though what type of paper do you use to make your books they are so beautiful I have been trying to make some very small books now but not very good at it enjoy your week 👍👋☺️🌹👍🦄

Really enjoy your videos. Where do you get your library check-out cards? I am a retired librarian (who has not yet made a book but want to give it a try) and would love to get some of those check-out cards to use in my watercolor and mixed media art. Plus they are so nostalgic for me! Thanks much. Looking forward to your shop being open again.

I very much enjoyed watching this! What weight book board do you use? I love how substantial it looks with the coptic stitch binding in particular!
