I'm not sure if they have minimums but they're easy to communicate with when you request a quote. I ordered 120 pt (3mm), which turned out to be difficult to cut. Next time I'm going to try 100 pt. I tried acquiring Davey Board this time with no luck... I'm so glad I found Hammond Paper!

Hello Chanel :) I hope you have a great time at the craft fair! I am trying to level up my book binding skills enough to sell my books at markets and fairs too one day. How much stock and product variety would you recommend a craft market newbie prepare? Thank you!

What personal items do you usually bring to a craft fair? Stuff that people may not think about like extra hair ties, extra water, snacks, etc.
Along the same lines, how do you prepare for a fair? What do you do day of, day before, week of, month before regarding booth layout, choosing items to sell, traveling, etc.

I've been trying markets this year and have leather journals and notebooks on display. But i have most of my items unreachable so they don't get grubby by a lot of touching. I know how important it is for people to hold items and I'm considering plastic bags for the products and putting everything within reach. How do you display your items, how do you overcome this issue and what are your feelings/ thoughts on this? Thank you Chanelle 🤗😊

In the video you mention your ideal customers, how do you figure out who your ideal customers are? Also I'm taking my books to my first craft fair this fall and I'm super nervous! How do you determine pricing? And how do you sell to people? Do they seem to want you to sell them on your books?

I love your silent vlogs, I love just watching you work. I have to say that I love the patterned papers you use they're really beautiful. The amount of outlay you have is incredible and I love watching you cutting and measuring. I find watching you making books very relaxing for me, as well as informational, it helps to see how binders create. I like to make my own note books and covers for myself so I learn a lot just watching you work. Thank you.

Watching you make books is therapeutic! I really like your videos. I hope you film your art fair! That would be fun to watch. I used to sell my hand painted t-shirts and polymer clay jewelry at flea markets and art fairs. That would be a very nostalgic video for me! I hope you do well!

I'm a huge fan of Detroit & Destiny 2, but if you're looking for something with more storytelling, Detroit is fantastic, and it's different based on the decisions you make in the game as the characters. :)

For sci fi books, I love anything by Becky Chambers. Her books are more light, character-focused, slice of life sci fi, not action heavy at all, but I love them. Warcross is on my tbr, it sounds really cool

I recommend Project: Hail Mary, by Andy Weir. He's the same author that did The Martian. There's a twist in PHM that I REALLY love. It comes out of left field, but keeps Weirs scientific precision. Highly recommended.

I am just now getting a tiny bit more intermediate with my bookbinding skills and want to start selling my books soon to raise money to give back to my community. I'm feeling very much ready to move on to investing in some actual equipment and a guillotine cutter like yours is at the top of my list. Can I ask: is the cutter you're using in this video a 12"/A4 or 17"/A3 size? Also curious what brand it is, how happy you are with it, and if you have any tips you could share for getting nice cuts. I've seen reviews for this type of cutter online and almost all of them have folks complaining about not getting straight/even cuts, so I assume there's a knack to it. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated and in the meantime, I'm very much enjoying your videos about market selling and the process of making many books at once!

My favorite sci-Fi/fantasy books are by Wen Spencer. The first book in the series is called Tinker and takes place in alternate reality and on and off Earth in Pittsburgh. It’s well written, has some language, but there’s action and romance and a lot of science. Right now there’s five books in the series.
I want to know how you price for craft fairs. I can never price correctly.

Ok, I have a question for you about the small soft cover journals with the pretty papers glued to the front: how do you do this without the cover bowing/curving? I have tried this multiple times with some thinner weight marbled paper I have on similar soft cover journals and it's been a problem. I'm not sure if it's a grain direction issue...using the wrong kind of glue...not enough weight pressing down while drying. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated (including any other videos where you show putting those together).
