    My question for you is how much extra stress is put on the cv joints on the axles with all that more articulation from the front wheels traveling the full length of the shocks?

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 года назад +2

      I’m not sure about other machines but I know with ours is that the axle actually has more articulation than what the suspension allows. Only reason I know is when we’ve broken axles we can drop the axle down further than what the shock lets it to swap it out. We’ve been running this was for about 6000 miles and so far haven’t seen any negatives.

    Guys thanks for this video information. I have been wondering how much of a difference it would be to disconnect mine on the X3. How does it run on faster trails with it off? Maybe I will invest in a quick disconnect system

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  3 года назад +1

      It does have some body roll at higher speeds but we have no issues cruising through wooded trails 30-40mph. You learn to adjust some. But it’s not real noticeable in my opinion.

    • @TheCanAmCrew

    Did you do anything with the rear sway bar or just leave the factory connected?

    • @TheCanAmCrew

      We left the factory rear sway bar hooked up since we do a lot of faster trail riding. Seems to work out for us pretty well

      @@TheCanAmCrew a simple tractor pin used in place of the bolt that connects the rear sway bar to the link makes for an easy quick disconnect.

    Have you tried disconnecting the rear also?

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  2 года назад +1

      We haven’t. We do fast and slow trails so I’m thinking the rear might to much much for body roll
