- We ordered the WS150 Whalen tune for our 2019 Cam Am X3's and did a little comparison, The WS150 tune is 150 HP to the wheels where as the stock 120hp Can Am X3 model has 120 crank HP (110 wheel HP). This tune gave us about 40 more HP to the wheels, higher RPM and a cooler running machine, well worth the money....
Please remember to click the like button and be sure to subscribe to The Can Am Crew so you can see all the upcoming adventures.... we will try to upload a couple videos a month.
Thanks for watching...

Ohhhhh snap! Now I’m STOKED for my 22 baby turbo X3! 2 seconds off the 0-60 in 4wd for $600 and zero parts interchange !? Take. My. Mooonayyyy.
Hell ya man. That’s what I’m talking about. I’ve been running it for 6000 miles and it’s been amazing.
@@TheCanAmCrew 6000 miles on the tune ?? Very nice . Any issues , premature problems you feel related to it ? Appreciate the feedback .
I don’t think some people realize how amazing of a deal that is considering how much money it takes to make trucks and cars faster by the HP.
*I really wish they would have added the P-Drive to the 22 120hp lol
@@joekearney ya, a p drive would be awesome. We haven’t had any issues motor or tune wise. It’s 100% worth the money and I think the new tunes are actually more horsepower than the one I haven’t. It may be the ws160 now but not positive. Either way it’s 100% worth it.
from the whalen videos i have seen you have to adjust the crack pressure, youbwill have way more power under the curve coming up boost and also achieve the 14ish psi
We did do the crack pressure. We set it to 7 on the gauge.
How many full rotations did it take to reach the 7
Honestly don’t remember it was a long time ago but I believe it was around 4 or so.
This safe for stock 120hp ds.. lil extra punch without blowing belt off this baby? Awsome video! Subscribed!
Awesome. Thanks for the sub we really appreciate it.
Very nice. How many cart lengths difference if you run them out to top end? thanks
silver viper id say about 6 lengths. It pulls away hard.
Great video. Hey is this the same as the rpm sxs powervision tune? Or is this ws160 different?
They are different. The ws160 is the new wnd improved ws150 tune. Whalens tunes are the way to go. I have 11,000 miles on my can am now and it’s never skipped a beat.
@@TheCanAmCrew 11k miles very nice👍🏼 do you have an intercooler yet??
@@MONTANA-bg8qh no. All stock motor, never changed the spark plugs. Oil changed ever 1000 miles.
@@TheCanAmCrew im sold🤣🤣 thanks
@@TheCanAmCrew can you put up the link please i wanna make sure i get the right one
Where did you buy and how mich did you pay ? Awesome mod and vid
jaime caceres We got this from Whalen speed. You can find them on Facebook and Instagram. They are awesome. It think it was around 600.00 if you get it with the power vision. We’ll worth the money.
Your intake temps got to 183! That’s pretty high
Isaac Martin one of the 183-187 degree temps your seeing is my coolant temp which was lowered a few degrees from Whalen. It’s programmed to run cooler with their tune. The other 183 degree temp is my charge temp which is normal for a non inter cooler X3
The charge temp is what I was talking about. Does it still make good power at that charge temp?
Isaac Martin Yes, it pulls like crazy. It’s probably a little hotter in this video because we were beating the piss out of them for several 0-60 runs haha. But 150-200 degrees is still ok but obviously the Lower the better. I just looked at your tune video. How to you like it?
I like it. I’m running a v flow intake and a stage 3 aa tune. It makes about 172 crank I believe. I’m running stock clutching
The Can Am Crew it’s for sure killing pwr with charge temps at 180.. I run the C&R intercooler/e85 tune and i barely see 110degrees on a 90degree day
Level 1 all ypu need to safely tune it or?
Ya the ws150 tune is now a ws160 tune for newer 120hp models. Just plug and play and adjust the turbo crack pressure. 600.00 will gain you 50 wheel horsepower. Can’t complain there haha.
Sic!
Try it without a windshield.
Isaac Martin I was wondering when someone would say that haha. We have a video coming up without a windshield. Those winter days can get really cold lol. Thanks for your input.
Are you still running this tune ? No intercooler?
Yep. 9000 miles and still hasn’t skipped a beat.
@@TheCanAmCrew did you have to do clutching ? I was on the fence about no intercooler and living in hot arizona haha
@@365AdventureCo. no, I’m still on stock clutches with 32” tires. My buddy has a stock 2020 xrc RR and in a drag race I can beat him. If your running miles of dessert an intercooler would be worth having so the temps don’t get to high but for me on the east coast riding in the mountains I’m not wide open long enough to get it to hot.
