    Now that’s a lot of heat on that rod! I’m worried about the lack of assembly oil

    @ Mark Dillon, I thank you for your contribution. Not many threads showing this. How did/does the application hold up?
    Seriously I have never tried wrist pins before and neither have my gearhead friends. Thanks, J

    How did you determine the depth the pin goes in?

    I don’t believe you heated the connecting rod enough..

      4 min. is what it takes and works every time on all pistons !

      you have to make sure the pin is moving very freely through the piston before you heat !

      Question I heated mines up and only got it half way through what should I do to get it all the way?
