- Westminster Bridge (French: Pont de Westminster ) is film number 254 in the • Playlist Film Catalog. The scene was filmed in London by an unknown cameraman probably on February the 20th 1896. It was shown for the first time in Lion on August the 16th of that year it was mainly the photographic quality and care and composition that determined the success of the Lumière Cinematographe, this iconic London view is just one example.

I strongly recommend that you delete this video immediately. I got a copyright Strike from the Lumière company in Lyon 2 weeks ago for this same footage (enhanced & colorized)! Apparently Lumière Brothers stuff is copyrighted until 2039! This company is currently hitting RUclipsrs all over the place.
You are wrong, the Lumière films are in the public domain and the Institut Lumiére is not in the copyright business, but in the preservation of film heritage
