This whole treatment of Hamilton is absolute genius. It has musical depth to rival any 70's or 80's progRock concept album. The storyline is solid. I love the consistency and clarity of message. To top it all off, it matches their mouth movements spot on!👍🏾

Just so you know, it's only one guy. He does all the voices and production, except the few times he's had on guest stars like Mark Hamill, but he always credits them in the video. There's an article interview somewhere online from when he first blew up where he talks about this some, that's how I know.

Rock-Rock Broke Their Bok-Bok fits so perfectly, it just gives me joy :) The beatboxing and his cool smug face when he says "Bok-Bok", beautiful - also a wonderful end segment with the animation
"Won't the rock-rock broke their bok-bok" is the most divinely inspired line I've ever heard.
I know you probably won't ever see this, but I figured I'd say it. You're truly an inspiration, and one of my first big role models in terms of my creative endeavors. The fact that you are so incredibly talented, and can pull all of this off on your own, the voice acting, writing, video editing, singing, and music production, is incredibly impressive, and has been a massive inspiration to me, since I also have always wanted to pursue multiple talents.
But the cherry on top for me is the fact that you've remained anonymous, and have still managed to achieve success. Being such a private person, I've always been afraid of fame and the destruction of personal privacy that it generally entails. But yet I've also always had a lot of creative passion and ambition, and wanted to reach people in a way that you really don't see many people able to do without that loss of privacy. So the fact that you were able to reach this scale on sheer talent, while keeping your identity a secret, has given me a lot of hope.
BLR is inspirational.

For every day BLR doesn't release the star wars prequels I am going to do something despicable like convince a puppy I'm going to adopt it but leave and never come back to the pound. Or eat a taco in front of a hobo.
As much as it would be really great to finally see the genius behind this channel, completely agree that the choice to remain anonymous is admirable but has also become part of the BLR brand.
This is just beautiful. The quality, poetry, new MEANING BLR gives to these works of art is a masterpiece in and of itself. I would go as far as to say that in some cases...the originals are transcended by their BLR counterparts. Please, never stop giving to the world these magnificent creations!

@@FRN2013 no I don't know who is behind BLR either. I once heard Beck while driving a car without knowing it. And I immediately thought it was BLR. The voice, the instrumentation, the emphasis on some words. No nonsense, listen to WOW for example. There's an interview with BLR where he says he keeps his identity a secret to protect his "more serious work". More serious than 8 million subscribers? There seems to be someone working on a large scale. Then there is the production. He plays all the instruments himself, just like Beck. He has access to a professional studio environment, just like Beck. It's just my guess, of course, but if you let the thought pass, it makes perfect sense. You can hear a little back and forth between Beck and BLR. But it's all just my guess.

I'm starting to feel like the twist is that this musical is presented in a non-linear fashion and is interspersed with flashbacks showing how Albertson became an axe-assassin due to his failed comedy career and general disrespect he faces... basically, a lot like Joker.
Imagine if this was the only info an alien had on humans.
This is some powerful creation of pure creativity. There's always funny moments and sometime deep meanings in nonsense.
