@@TommoOnRUclips yes, it’s not a must to have the suits and lids tier lists before the season starts since some drivers don’t reveal their new helmets until the first race weekend. I would say the drivers and teams standings prediction is the only everyone is looking forward to the most.
@@TommoOnRUclipsor you could do a whole team aesthetic review and redesign one each Raceweek. Like everything helmet and suits obviously, but also Pitcrew, Team wet weather gear, etc. Anything that you notice. (Sorry for my bad english but i haven‘t been using it since school.)
Really dislike the black box near the front wheels, the yellow line on the nosecone is a bit random. Imo one of your lesser redesigns, specially since the real one is so good.
See I love the black box - clearly a niche thing because nobody liked it on my Williams either... 😅

Tbh, I prefer it. It's got more going on than just being red and it hits back to Fiat Ferrari.
@@TommoOnRUclips i think if you use like more carbon fiber and less too coloured patterns to make the cars more agressive it will be better for your liveries. (from my perspective)
This might be your first clang of the season sadly. Like, its a nice livery but... I dunno, I'm not big on the big white stripe

If you got rid of the black block part on the nose and change Numbers design and colour to something more subtle, it would be a banger. Would love to see that next year. 🙂
A tier list for the suits, helmts and team uniforms, that would be a nice video
The redesign looks nice, except for that black strip after the halo. It conflicts with the white and kinda breaks the flow. It would work if there were more black areas like the mclaren.
Idk about this one. I think Ferrari did a very good job with their design. I think the only thing that really needed to be done would be to rearrange some of the sponsors, and maybe could have added a little white here and there. I just think it has too much white. But love the content and other designs! Keep up the great work. This channel is def helping me learn more and become more of a fan of the sport
I prefer your redesign but I am unsure about the black block on the nose past the halo.
Same here, if teh white sort of transcendet into the red by becmoing more narrow to the side of the nose and forming a pinstripe withe the yellow this would have been great for the side profile and for the front which would look a lot cleaner i think. I also really like the rear wing and front wing.

White paint is the heaviest and densest which is why every team is avoiding it as much as possible
I like your redesign. That black block near the halo though, looks very odd.
I also think i would have made the engine cover white.

Tommo out here hitting me with the Nostalgia feels with that part white Front Wing. I like the redesign, it reminds me of the 2004 Ferrari and 2017 Ferrari! Simply lovely!
Tier lists for driver suits and helmets would be amazing
I kinda love this one, not sure if the black box works for me but i feel like if it was on the actual car it would really grow on me over the season.

Quite a decent redesign. As others have said - hard to improve an already perfect livery. Only things I would change are the black box - interrupts the flow of the car a bit; make the yellow pinstripe carry around the front nose rather than the sudden cut across - similar to the AM redesign; and have the numbers be white on yellow - imo stands outs more and fits with the colour scheme better.
Overall very nice, would love to see both a racing suit tier list and maybe work these redesigns into either their own list or the actual livery tier list.
Quite liking the black bar tbh, the livery redesign is a bit busy but that's honestly the million sponsors that Ferrari have. Solid Job mate
Love this redesign. The white additions to the existing color palette screamed “Fire Mario” to me on first glance - in absolutely the best way possible. Cheers, and on to the next!
I absolutely love this redesign. Adding the white just makes it look so good!
The real version in my opinion is a goodie, definitely in my Top 3 for the season. However I can only dream but it would have been a perfect 11 out of 10 if instead of plastering so many sponsors on the sidepods, they'd simply put the Ferrari text logo in white there(similar to what Haas did on their sidepods). I do like their idea with the yellow and white pinstripes.
The Tommo version I like too - the added white makes it something different. Only thing I'd change(but that's my personal taste), is to remove the black block in front of the halo and perhaps replace it with the white near it. My favourite thing of your design is definitely the "tri-colour" front wing - that would look so good on a TV broadcast when they focus on the front angles.
This is absolutely gorgeous. The back and front wings with the white... mouthwatering. I am surprised so many people don't like it, I think it's some of your best work!

Not bad! I think halfway between your design and the Ferrari design would be perfect.
I would love A) a video of your ranking of the drivers overalls from this year. And then B) love even more your ranking of the best drivers overalls from all time (since the 90s/modern era)
the front and rear views on your one look BANGING. feels aggressive yet smart. it's the side angle that's not doing it for me personally. specifically the coke bottle area with the santander bit and how the white element is shaped there. bit too thick in my opinion. that being said, for the most part i'd say it looks pukka, mate. love these videos, definitely my favourite off season content for sure. it's awesome to see this kind of creative F1 content, keep up the good work!
Love the hypercar inspired livery
Idk why but… I love the black box honestly. It just adds something new onto the car and it’s unique. It’s also a break from all the colour on the car, 9/10 Tommo.
I love the idea on the new design! My favorite livery ever in f1 was the 2016 Ferrari, and it looks a bit similar, I would just move the white accents from the middle of the car to covering the roll hoop and the top, just like in 2016! Other than it’s really nice!
Do the helmet tier list and driver suits as well mate. Give us a link to do it as well while your at it 😊
The whole front wing segment look amazing, the black box is a cool tough. I would prefer a bit less white though and black wheel covers. But an amazing design job none the less!

I get the vision for the redesign and I think it's good that you go for something wildly different when the original is already a great livery that you can't really improve upon.
However, personally, I think the black row across the top of the nose was a big miss and your redesign would look a lot better without it.
Apart from that, the white stripe was a bit shocking at first, especially since the halo kinda blends in but after you showed the 70s car that inspired the idea I started to see the vision and I think it looks cool.
I really like the white! Great work tomorrow.
My only notes would be bringing a little bit of red back into the halo, maybe on the underside or just on the top.

This might one of the first redesigns where i though without hesitation: yes this is much better!
Only realized how half heartedly retro the original feels when i saw you add the white.
This is your best redesign yet. This is a MEGA BANG! To be fair, I've liked all your renders better than the real things.
Love the yellow in the inlet but i don’t know why the white doesn’t do that for me.
The real livery with Peroni repositioned is easily the best livery we've seen this season, redesigns considered. Eventhough I really like the Merceses as well, and the Aston is pretty nice too.

I my opinion yours is amazing just the numbers, i feel a white outline if red and the blacked out at the top same as the willams just cuts to the Livery awkwardly. Other wise i love yours!
I like it overall, love the retro idea and going further. I'd say the strongest part of your redesign is the back part of thw car with all the white striping/blocking. It's harder to tie it all together in the front. Overall it's a good livery

I see a lot of people not liking your redesign but tbh I think it's alright. Maybe ditching the yellow and going for red/white/black, and minus the black box at the front would work better?

A lot of people don’t like the black box but I love it. Looks a bit odd but in a way that is visually interesting and breaks up the white on the back of the car.

After going through every angle of your design I warmed up to it soooo quickly. That front on angle is 🔥 and the black/yellow numbers pop so well, we’re due a full on retro livery soon from a team, cmon

Everything but the black partition. Somehow it works better on the gulf livery but really love the white streak towards the back of the car!

I think you should definetly do a tier list of the racing suits .... and maybe helmets. Also which ferrari hat is that one? the yellow looks so good! Also for some reason the ferrari reminds me of the 2008 car, I think its something to do with the nose/front wing
Couldn't agree more in regards to the business of the sidepod on the Ferrari design. Ray-Ban or Peroni would suit the intake box to make the car much more legible.
As for your redesign, I definitely don't mind the black box as much as many of the other comments I've seen, my only criticism about that would be the fact that there's really no carry through on the rest of the design. The usage of white brings back some SERIOUS retro Ferrari vibes but maybe a carbon Halo would've helped balance it a bit better IMO. Great work!
Love the vibes man you're getting better and better at this 🔥🔥 I'm just not sure about the black area under the Richard Mille and Ferrari logo, I think the color choice is good but the shape is too "squared" and doesn't fit the other shapes that are curved. But that's a small detail, for the rest it's an easy banger. Keep up!
Ps: How the hell do you change the tire texture on the RSS car model ??? I'd love to remake the Pirelli ones for my liveries 👀

I'm not a fan of white on Ferrari's, I'd say I wanted more yellow perhaps. The hypercar nailed it. A little white is ok.
I love the idea of the added black, but the box looks boxy, maybe a more streamlined look could work, or a standalone inverse one where black is more prominent (because an IRL black ferrari is always classic to look at)

Hi Tommo, i think everyone is a little bit confused with your design. In all the previous years ferarri had a full red car, wich makes people attached to red and red only. I really like your design because it is something differnt from what has been their style, still this matches all ferarri checkboxes, thats why i really love this design.
Will never say no to more of your insight into design. A tier list on race suits would be class

I'm with everyone else thinking the black bar on the nose feels out of place and stops the white from flowing back to front. I would love to see a really radical design with a huge prancing horse logo overlayed across the engine cover area with simple colour blocking/pinstriping everywhere else
Your redesign would also be a banger for me if you didn't put that black box in the front suspension area. But overall great job with your redesign.

I think the halo here needs to be red as you are naturally creating a white line that goes right underneath then all of sudden it bleeds into the halo, it may clean it up?
Let’s see if they made the right decision. Suspension layout feels like one of those low rake vs high rake debates from the previous generation.
Would Ferrari switching to Push Rod at the back be beneficial? Probably. Would it be beneficial enough for them to spend a winter changing the design which would likely entail a lot of other changes needing to be done around the back? Probably not when the time is likely better spent elsewhere around the car.
The empty airbox makes me scared of some Marlboro/MissionWinnow/Whatever shenanigans...
I see a lot of flack for your black nose band. I think that hits! What doesnt do it for me though is from the side, the white from the halo back makes me feel like its a cartoon super hero mask/cape combo (like from the incredibles)... can't get that out of my head!

I love the new livery, great to see a very covered car! I’ve got a few minor nitpicks with the official livery, although some of them are just personal preference.
1) from a front view the nose looks huge. It doesn’t have the same tapered design as the last two years, so the black/carbon on the sides of the nose should’ve been used to add that taper.
2) obviously the sidepods are way too cluttered I agree with that
3) I think the red on the wheels was a bit unnecessary, to me the stripes would’ve been enough
4) the red on the front wing endplates just doesn’t work for me, would definitely look better with just black. Same goes for the rear wing.
5) and personally, I would’ve preferred the pin-striping to be a touch thinner, and either all white OR in the same format as the 499Ps stripes; with one big and one small stripe (big white stripe, small yellow stripe)
Pls do a tier list of the drivers suits (maybe redesign the suits?)

These cars are ultimately rolling billboards, whilst a team like Haas arguably doesn’t have enough on the Ferrari almost have too many. That busy side pod is a prime example, moving Peroni up certainly made a difference. On the actual car it’s almost conspicuously empty, perhaps maybe Ferrari are trying to attract yet another brand.
I’m not too sold on the white, or rather how much there is. Because it does actually provide some visual breathing space, your livery could be a good alt for a home race.

Yeah, I like the white, especially the strip along the side but like a lot of others, not keen on the black box on the nose. It’s a bit unnecessary and I think the main thing is it’s a very static shape so it stands out a lot more
It’s overall a decent redesign, a bit busy but that black box at the top of the nose just really drags it down. It tries to be too much and just becomes messy and convoluted in the process. Really cool view from the side tho although I understand why they kept the air intake free of sponsors on the real car and do prefer it that way. Just looks more elegant like that imo.
