This was the coolest video! Thank you for sharing palaces with us that we may otherwise never get to see or know about. Now, I want to head to Elkhart!
Funny to see how some of that early design and innovation still is in some modern day units. RV Hall of Fame. Who knew. You guys are showing me so many places I didn’t know existed through your videos. Great job. Thanks
I have to laugh my first and second cars had 8-tracks and I had quite a collection. Very cool place. I have never been there but it is surely on my list of places to visit.
That place looks awesome. Whenever we are in that area, it will be a definite must do item. I especially loved the travel Trailer named after me...1913 "Earl" TT.
It's amazing we've only recently changed the design of the RV range to a cooktop and separate oven. It goes to show how consumers have been demanding better construction quality rather than the proven and timeless typical RV range. Still in 2019 base models we're still seeing the old style all in one RV range. The same is said for the toilet engineering. A simply flange with a rubber gasket providing gravity "flush". If it ain't broken, why change it. Now I did have to modify my toilet with a seat riser in order to add a full function, electric bidet seat. I always use full hook-ups so saving water and black tank space isn't an issue like those who boondock. The 1977 GMC motorhome has had a complete restomod. The front clip and paint is all new. As is the interior. You won't find another GMC motorhome looking like that. That said, it still is an amazing motorhome. If this were built today, it would sell like crazy thanks to the iconic body styling. Imagine this body longer, wider, and taller. A diesel pusher with basement storage, and flush slides. That would be an amazing project to test the skills of some of the greatest custom vehicle builders today. You're looking at $1.5 to 2.5 million plus depending on how you outfit the interior. Everything from the chassis up would be 💯 custom in order to retain the exact scaled up dimensions. Fun video as always! Thank you for sharing. Love the plant tour video too. Cheers from Seattle!
We were there in May of this year and yep - there were a few that the smell deterred me from going in and walking around, but hey, they're pretty old so I didn't expect pristine aromas anyway. There are a lot of really cool rigs in there though. We were pretty fond of the 1916 and earlier models as well. The craftsmanship was amazing for those times.
We were there about a month ago. We went to Jayco for a tour. We live about 2 hours away and may have to go back someday and take more time and pictures. Take care and be safe.
I love your videos. The editing is amazing. Please let me know sometime when you are in Indiana and are looking to do some motorcycle riding. I would love to show you some of the cool roads we have around here.
Thanks for sharing. Looks like I’ll have to add this to my bucket list of places to visit. I used to think those GMC Motorhomes were so cool when I was kid😂
We've had a couple of requests for more details in that area, so we'll try to get more of that into the videos... But, we are also going to start posting campground reviews to our blog along with the location videos where we can be more specific about site numbers and such.
We use epidemicsound.com (youtube creators license) for all of our music. It’s hit or miss on the songs we use being available in iTunes, etc. If you’ve never tried it, try an app called Shazam (or ask Siri - what’s this song) while the music is playing. It will try to identify it and provide links to download. However, we’ve found that not all of the songs we use are available.
I wonder how long before the new models today will end up in an RV museum, and how people will walk through and ask "I can't believe they actually camped in those!" :)
We didn't mean it to come off that way... We know from experience the 70's had a distinct smell of polyester, sideburns and shag carpet. LOL We're just joking around. 😎
Harvest Gold and Avocado Green. I remember them well.
Happy VETERANS DAY Chad. !
Thank you for your Service Brother. ! 👍🇺🇸
Back at ya!! 🇺🇸

Thanks for sharing this! It's pretty cool!
I have to laugh my first and second cars had 8-tracks and I had quite a collection. Very cool place. I have never been there but it is surely on my list of places to visit.
I had the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack on 8-Track! LOL Cassettes were popular by the time I got my '78 Celica in 1985 though.
Awesome video! I grew up south of there about 40 miles in Warsaw
Great video. Ah the smells of the 70s. All they need now is a disco ball and party! Safe travels, and keep it between the ditches.
Disco Ball! Yes!!! LOL
Awesome video , Thanks for sharing. You two Rock !!!!!
I would like to visit. The video footage was great.
Wow....amazed at some of the RVs. Great tour and thanks for sharing.

Love that GMC motorhome !
It's amazing how far RVs have come.
Yes.. it really is!

I hope you had the opportunity to eat at the fabulous big red barn near here, the Amish food is amazing!
Wow you brought good memories for me 77-78-79 thank guys💚💚💚
I'm surprised you didn't show the model where 2 sticks pop out and start rubbing together to start your oven, helluva option... :)
Ah... the Flintstone model. 😜 Thanks for watching, Troy!
“It comes in any 70’s color you want”. 😂🤣😂🤣😂
That place looks awesome. Whenever we are in that area, it will be a definite must do item. I especially loved the travel Trailer named after me...1913 "Earl" TT.
Thnks ya'll can't wait to see it in person.
1:31 Those where awesome..GMC MotorHome's..
Indeed. Way ahead of the times!

Thanks for following our journey, Cameron! 😊
We gotta swing by next time we're there, seems just awesome! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!! We will visit when in the neighborhood........actually within a few hundred miles of home in Wisconsin.
Did some camping in an old Scotty a couple times... amazing how comfy they can be. Cool place.
That hunt house car reminds me of the old corvair ultra van rv's lol...
Thanks guys that was very cool!
We were there about a month ago. We went to Jayco for a tour. We live about 2 hours away and may have to go back someday and take more time and pictures. Take care and be safe.
Awesome! How did you like the Jayco tour? Wish we could have taken some more tours when we were there...
Another great video guys, keep them coming.

Will do, Indy! And thanks for watching! 😊
Awesome video. So much fun to see how things were built through the years. Also brings back a few memories, lol.
Oh yea.... my parents had a conversion van in the 70's we used to travel in. Wall to wall to ceiling carpet! LOL
Changing Lanes hahaha. I can still smell the 1977 18ft Winnebago trailer my parents had when I was a kid.
Thanks for sharing. Looks like I’ll have to add this to my bucket list of places to visit. I used to think those GMC Motorhomes were so cool when I was kid😂
I remember the one in "Stripes" the best! 😊
Y'all nailed another one ….fantastic guys...Thanks for sharing.. What do you think of linking these campgrounds you go to. And sites you visit??
We've had a couple of requests for more details in that area, so we'll try to get more of that into the videos... But, we are also going to start posting campground reviews to our blog along with the location videos where we can be more specific about site numbers and such.
Oh.. and I guess a link would also be in order... 😊 We stayed here: elkhartcampground.com/
Love the old school stuff. I wonder how
many are all original vs restored.
From what we could tell, they all seemed very original. Many also smelled very original.. 😳
Changing Lanes ah... must in the morning 😂
My God RVs had style back in the day. So much cooler than the horrible anonymous boxes they sell today.
This is so cool! Awesome video! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Dean! 😊
OMG.... YOU WAS SO CLOSE TO ME AND LEONARDO DAVINCI
Avocado green lol that's the 70s 😁
a little fast on the panning, but nice video and nice summary. I am glad you enjoyed the land of my birth! :)
We've since gotten some better equipment for smoother pans. It'll just take a while for the videos to catch up. 😎
Changing Lanes proper equipment meets technique! And you have the technique.
2:16 I like that..
I have no idea why we didn't buy that!

LOL.. yea.. "they actually used WHEELS back then!", said the boy from his antigravity hover-board. 😊
How long does it take to walk through these displays? Is it an all day thing for old people like us? Hahahaha,
It's one of those things you can do as slow or fast as you want. We went through it in about 2 hours.
😂😂😂 okay...tell us the truth...... how many of those dinner rolls survived? Lol
Well, if they weren't sealed in lacquer, we might have eaten them! LOL
I just hope those color schemes don’t make a comeback...pretty neat vintage stuff though.
Good God you're young...74 lol .... ankle biters( that's a term from the 50s used for kids lol)
Don’t be knocking’ the 70s.
We didn't mean it to come off that way... We know from experience the 70's had a distinct smell of polyester, sideburns and shag carpet. LOL We're just joking around. 😎
Changing Lanes - All in good fun.
