You guys are great. Your videos don't feel like "the next video that we've got to do"! Maybe we'll run into you guys on the road once day... would be fun to hang out. Btw we did Buffalo Trace last year the same day we did the track and a UK football game. Great fun. In the past we did the George Dickle tour in TN. Talk about a great smelling place! Dickle is now my bourbon of choice! Safe travels guys. bg

Chad and Tara, love the channel, I'm a retired Aviation Chief, motorcycle rider, go Goldwing, I found Buffalo Trace Cream and it's awesome... had to go to Reno to get it but was worth it... live in California,grrrr.... thanks....
Welcome to Kentucky! Like we say here, don't like the weather, just wait a few minutes, lol. The Bourbon Trail is one you must not miss. Great motorcycle rides through horse country. And don't miss the castle in Versailles. A lot of great small towns to see. Another great video!
@@ChangingLanes Thank you so much. Yes, maybe at a G D Rally at some point. I'm a Harley guy Chad so don't hold that against me. LOL. Your Indian (Lucile) is a beauty. Keep the rubber side down and safe travels with your Momentum.
Next time you are down in Tennessee go to the Jack Daniel's Distillery if haven't ever been. They offer a tour that is very in depth. It is a great tour.
Watched this video last night. Being a “Hard” Root Beer drinker the first thing I did this morning was to go look for Bourbon Cream and luckily I found it here in Oregon! I have to agree the Adult Root Beer Float is delicious! My wife and I love your videos, keep up the great work and play!
Next time you get out that way go to the Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto, KY. Just like Buffalo Trace the grounds are amazingingly beautiful and the tour was great. NOTE: you will NOT want to take the rig up there if you come in off of I-65 - roughly 20 miles off the interstate(?). Very twisty ,uphill, skinny, 2 lane road with trees hanging over the road on some portions. We took our F150 and there were a couple of times we weren't sure if the oncoming traffic was going to take our side mirror off. But man, what a beautiful drive up there and back.
I drove there in a Mazda Miata. The roads are lots of fun for sports cars and motorcycles, quite smooth and curvy. Lots of beautiful farmland. But I would not do it with any sort of trailer. But I did see distillery trucks leaving, so it's possible.
Hey guys just wanted to drop you a quick note following your RUclips a great show like what you guys do great attitude fun to watch have a great day Ron and Sandy
Im not a big drinker, but enjoy good bourbon, and Buffalo Trace is fantastic. Best I've ever tried. Hard to find though, always sold out. Like your channel!
If you go back to the great state of Kentucky try the "Bourbon Trail" where you visited many distilleries. (closer to Louisville), Corvette plant in Bowling Green or even the Kentucky Derby museum if your into horses as well as many horse farms near Lexington. (disclaimer, Kentucky is my home state although gone for 30 years). Thanks for all the videos. Chad, my Harley battery goes bad too!!!
Buffalo Trace is awesome. I got hooked couple years ago. For the last months have been hard to find in Fayetteville, NC. Today I was lucky to get one. ABC store let you buy only one.
I found this video while looking for videos on Buffalo Trace. I live in Versailles, KY just down the road. I hope you can make another trip to the "Bluegrass State" because Y'all missed so much. I'm sure the campground you stayed at was great, but also in G'town in the Kentucky Horse Park and the campground is fantastic. Plus you would have been at a place that celebrates another Kentucky icon the Thoroughbred. That and Bourbon are the top top KY icons. Unfortunate about all the rain because Y'all would have enjoyed a ride in the Red River Gorge in the Daniel Boone National Forest. I really hope that you can make it back to the bluegrass. So much stuff to see. I really enjoyed your video and will have to browse your channel to follow your adventure. Y'all come back now, Ya hear!
Smoochies dat face, Daisy!! How old was that distillery building?. It was massive!! We bought a oak bourbon barrel from George Dickle in TN. A friend said to pour a gallon of water in the barrel and roll it around some. Ya get a gallon of pure whiskey! Then, use the barrrel for a yard decoration or run a downspout in there. We'll be on the lookout for some of that bourbon cream. Will ask Brad at River Street Tavern if he can get a hold of some. Great video, guys. Can't wait for the next one! Safe travels!!

It was very cool to see our little town through y'all's eyes. We are frequent visitors of the pub. Great place and even better owners. God speed!
Ah, the Bourbon Trail. Did that a couple of years ago...my wife said it was the most expensive vacation we ever took since I became a big fan of good-great bourbons and won't drink the cheap stuff anymore! It is a great tour and highly recommended. We went with a group of campers and rented a limo (split the cost) so none of us had to worry about being a DD. We toured many distilleries including Buffalo Trace. We also spent some time in the city and that was fun as well. Highly recommended destination especially if you like fine spirits!

We have used Whispering Pines and like it, we will be going back. I'll check out the battery. I need one for my 2013 HD Glide Anniversary Ltd. Thanks, I enjoy your videos
FWIW, they will be releasing a remote fob for the battery (to engage the reserve / activate the jump start) in Jan 2019. Not very convenient to get to most batteries on full dressers. This is the battery in case I forgot to link it: amzn.to/2RfWPa5
Buffalo Trace is one of our favorite places to go and we LOVE the bourbon cream. Buffalo Trace root beer, bourbon cream and ice cream is the perfect adult root beer float! There is a wonderful Thai restaurant in Georgetown, Ky, the Thai Garden, next time you are there you should try. Safe travels.
Hey there Chad and Tara! Stumbled on your video here about visiting Buffalo Trace. Great video's overall and the content as well. I'm not an RV'r, yet, but who knows right? I am on the other hand an Indian Rider 18' RM from mile 1 and FM CVMA TX 23-11. Hope ya'll travel safe and find some great adventures out there. Looking forward to seeing more content in your travels.
Hey guys...just joined your channel and love your adventures! You indicated you would try and get back to Kentucky and the bourbon trail. Please make sure to visit the Angel's Envy distillery in Louisville and let me know when you head back that way and I can set up a VIP tour for you (I work for the company that owns AE). Safe travels!
Awesome! Might be some time as we're heading West for 2019... But I'll bookmark this and let you know when we head back to Bourbon Country! Thanks for following our journey! 😊
Harley rider here but love the Indians as well. Thanks for battery tip as I am gonna need one soon. We went out today and it had trouble starting after sitting for a week. The Staunton area is awesome riding if you ever get back. Keep it up, we are planning on doing the same as you in fie Years. We want to pay cash out right for our Momentum and the vehicle. Have fun and ride safe.
Loved your video. I live in Georgetown and have all my 65 years. Glad you enjoyed your trip to our little town. If you get back this way you should also take the Toyota plant tour. It’s an amazing tour as well. Check out some of the historic covered bridges if you have time.
Someone else had mentioned the Toyota factory tour as well... Definitely have to check that out and the covered bridges. Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching! 😊
Hello we love all your videos we just finished watching your latest and you stayed at a campground called Walnut Hills in Staunton VA we just live a couple miles down the road. The next time you’re in the area let’s us know love to meet y’all. We are campers also and motorcycle lovers. Love your bike and all your videos thanks for your service and we can’t wait for your next video.
Your channel is very cool to be so new! 😎🤘👍🤩I've only been to Jim Beam distillery... The tour was awesome with lots of free samples. Many great things to do in KY including Mammoth Cave, Churchill Downs, Land Between the Lakes, and bourbon trails. The list goes on and on! Enjoy yourselves out there! Subbing!
While not officially on the trail, the oldest distillery is in Athertonville. It closed years ago, even though they too had a exemption during prohibition, they never quite recovered. Sadly the distillery was the town and most of the towns infrastructure is now abandoned as well. Going south on 31E from Bardstown to Hodgenville, you’ll pass the distillery on the right. The building is now used as a trucking company sort warehouse. Another 3 miles south is Abraham Lincoln’s childhood home. Then about 2-1/2 miles south of Hodgenville is his birthplace home. All of these are free. Reply if your looking for other things in the area. If your looking for parking, my suggestion would be Bernheim forest in Clermont.
We visited Kentucky in July 2018. We visited The Bourbon Heritage Center on the Heaven Hill property in Bardstown. After that we made our way to Jim Beam. Jim is a neat tour. You have a chance to bottle your own bottle of Knob Creek. We enjoyed that and was also able to personalize the bottle. 2 days later we toured what would be my favorite distillery we visited and that was Wild Turkey. The Wild Turkey tour seemed more personable and less commercialized. Bubba was our tour guide and he was a hoot. I was even able to get a bottle of Wild Turkey "Kentucky Spirit" signed by the living legend himself, Jimmy Russel. He's the oldest working master distiller in the world. He loves his job so much he hangs out with the tourists and signs autographs. A visit to Wild Turkey is a must the next time you come through. Also, if you're in the Lexington area and looking for a really good bite to eat, stop in at Carson's. Oh! Can't forget to mention Art Eatables in Louisville. Chocolates made with different brands of bourbon!
One of the best things I like about your videos even though I'm new to you is the fact that you're showing America that you don't need to travel to a country when there's soooooooo much to explore right here in the United States. I recommend traveling in the summer months to grand junction Colorado and Harley ride back east on highway us 50 towards gunnison Colorado. And over monarch pass . Then check out Richland Colorado ...i believe it is and tour the 5 canyons. On the way back stop down to Durango Colorado and ride the Silverton railroad... and Durango is only hours from 4 corners ... also from there you can ride to steamboat springs Colorado. In the northeast i recommend Vermont new Hampshire and Maine in the summer 👍👍👍👍👍
Hello sailor. Thank you for your service. VAW-124 very cool. We live just north of Whispering Hill RV park and were visiting the bourbon trail about the same time you were there. Love your videos. Is 5th wheel living better than living on an aircraft carrier? What year did you serve? Keep the video coming. Thanks and ENJOY.
LOL! Yea.. I think it's a little nicer in our king size memory foam than on top of my coffin locker! I mean, I did have a top bunk and could sit up and all. LOL I was in from '86 to '92, with the last half in VAW-124 as an AT. Thanks for watching! 😊
So I’m rolling right now. I Live in WBurg area, started watching your video to see the distillery because we were talking about visiting. Then I saw your dog which looks like our Shichon. Then I saw y’all on your Indian. We have a Chieftain Limited and then after all that your dogs name is Daisy just like our white Shichon. So I had to comment. I don’t think I have ever comment on a RUclips video before. I’m still laughing about it though. Safe Travels.
Hit me up if you need any more info on Frankfort, KY area. Our home base in the 5th-wheel is just south on the Kentucky River and I'm from Louisville. Enjoy your vids bunches.
HI, John! Welcome to our channel! 😊 Between the two of us, we have 2.5 full-time jobs. 😳 I (chad) work in IT (systems integration and automation development) and have been with the same company for 18 years and have telecommuted for the last 9 of those years. Both of us work on our channel - Tara does all of our editing, which is a full-time job, and I also put about 30 hours a week into it. Nomad life is a great fit and we're so happy we can share it through our content!
I enjoy you videos, I noticed that you are a Desert Storm Vet. So am I. 317TH Combat Engineers out of Camp Eschborn Germany attached to the 1st ID. I guess we ate the same dirt.
Thank you for that clarification-“western Virginia, not West Virginia”. That’s my home, and it seems so many people don’t realize they’re separate states. 🤦♀️ people have actually said, “I have a cousin in Richmond.” When I’ve told them I’m from WV.
Looks like a pretty good trip in spite of all the rain. Glad to hear it was only a battery on Lucille. How do we get one of those Changing Lanes T-shirts? Happy travels and stay safe.
We've had a couple of queries on the shirts. Right now we've just gotten a couple to try out. Maybe in our next order we'll get some extras and do a giveaway. 😊
Oh my gosh definitely add Woodford reserve to your list! If you want some local breweries, hit up Columbus while you are in Ohio! That’s our neck of the woods!!!
Rain and bourbon is not a good combination .... leads to another rainy day with a hangover ;-) .... It looks like you are really enjoying the road and making the best of each day.
First time watcher, and I enjoyed your video very much. Nice job editing. Maybe you could list the cameras you use. I've added you to my list of RV'ers. Take care and be safe.
We're actually putting together a video and blog post on that, so stay tuned! :) In the mean time, I added it to the description area above. Thanks for watching! 😊
Subscribed to your channel recently; great vids. I specifically like how you guys talk about your actual experiences mixed in with a few DIY instructional videos. You can say that I'm living vicariously through your lens waiting out my months before I can retire and start my own journey. Thanks for sharing. What are those orange things under your levelers and do they sink into soft ground?
Thanks! 😊 The red "cans" under out jacks in the video are Andersen Jack Blocks. We don't use them anymore because we've broken NINE of them (6 we bought and 4 replacements they sent us). Simply unreliable. The bottom edge would break off and they'd sink into the gravel / dirt / whatever. We've switched to RV SnapPads and love them. They don't help lessen the jack extension like the Jack Blocks did, but they don't break and they stay on the rig, which is great when setting up and breaking down camp. RVSnapPads is also going to be coming out with something called "stackers" that will help with the jack extension / stability. We'll be helping them prototype that and, of course, do a video on those when they come out. If you're thinking about buying SnapPads, use our link and get $10 off. (rvsnappad.com/discount/LANES10) Also, they are about $30 cheaper direct versus Amazon, so $40 savings overall. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Check 6Tri-Lake Trails campground in Marshall Michigan... and stop by the famous Dark Horse Saloon 👍👍 lots of roads to Harley on !!! And firekeepers casino is 6 miles away 👍... ok ..maybe 10 miles 😀
How do you like the Indian? I will be in the market soon and want to go for my last motorcycle so i am taking my time To get the right bike! I narrowed it down to a GW and a Indian Road master. Are you happy with your choice?
LOVE our roadmaster! You should definitely test ride one if you haven't already. Goldwings are sweet too and tend to have a reverse which would be nice.
O-H..... Always get excited for some reason when RUclipsrs that I watch are coming to Ohio. Great video. Drive safe. Sorry, but bourbon cream does not sound real good, lol.
Hey Ya'll I see you have already been to Buffalo Trace. We live between Louisville and Frankfort on I 64. If your ever in the area or wanted to return I would like to offer you a quiet place to stay. We have 6 acres, I have 1-50 amp and 1 30 amp but no sewer. My wife and I plan on Full-timeing the future. I like your videos keep it up.
We use Epidemic Sound (www.epidemicsound.com) for our videos. As far as I know, the music isn't for sale directly, just licensed to creators for use on youtube. You're not the first person to ask about the music though, so I've reached out to them to see if there's any method in place for our viewers to be able to download the music. I'll put a blog post together if we find a way, so be sure to check out our web site (changinglanesrv.com) and subscribe there also. 😊 Thanks for watching!
Since out last reply, we found that many of the songs on epidemic are available on itunes. You can play our videos and use shazam or siri to identify the track. 😎

OMG! Babe's Barbeque. Phil, do NOT ever let friends take you there on your birthday UNLESS you are okay with having to participate in the chicken dance when an entire line of servers show up at your table to put you in the spotlight. hahahahaha (Yes, I fell for it ONCE. Never again. LOL!)
We are, and yes... We have memberships with Good Sam and KOA. They pay for themselves fairly quickly after a few nights. However, weekly and longer rates are almost always lower than the discounted nightly rate. But sometimes a combination of weekly and nightly can be used when not staying an exact multiple of 7 nights.
AKA...Side of Beef. Just one side of beef is a lot. If the pub buys an entire steer, thats a huge amount to butcher up. Sad thing is, many as you say "source" their food items which come all nicely packaged, weighed to similar sizes, vacupacked etc. vs. the above. Historically, the best sources for beef is hand butchered by an experienced butcher who knows the many cuts and how to trim them out. Finding naturally fed and aged beef is getting to be scarce as the big conglomerates put pressure on ranchers to hurry up feed and raise cattle for slaughter, cheaply. Grass fed is good also corn fed is good if the corn is real corn vs a corn based "cocktail". Batteries. The one you purchased is nice but very expensive. I hope its service life is 5+ years. Also very reliable is the AGM style battery vs. the very dated lead acid versions especially in vehicles that yield much vibration. An ATV I use has an AGM battery, $79, and it's beginning it's 7th year of reliable service. Battery tender charge it, 2 Amp max, about every two to three weeks when not in use. Next time you're in TN and feel like being in the middle of noplace, head for Lynchburg and hear about the Tennessee Whiskey distillery, it's just about self contained, like your RV.

Welcome to our channel, Joe! 😊 👊🏼
Love your ride videos.
Need to go there and sample some Blanton whiskey!
Thanks for reminding me... Added a link to the description for the battery. Love the idea of the built in jump start! Keep the shiny side up!
Great video!! Look like a fun time.
Oh, I forgot I spied three barn quilts on your Kentucky
ride!!
Yes! We've seen lots of those in KY, OH, and IN.
Love your videos. You guys have great personalities. Look forward to your next video, be safe and keep having fun.
Awesome video and stories, guys. I'm HOOKED! I love pappy vanwinkle. It's hard to find around me.
Thanks! Pretty sure that's the same Walnut Hills we stayed at. Was just an over-nighter but looked super nice! Thanks for watching!
You guys were close to us in Louisville, Ky Safe travels and maybe our Grand Design Reflection 297RSTS will meet up with you guys on the road.
There are two people who need a better prescription of glasses...
Great vid! I would love to go to this distillery!
Subbing!
Thank you! Yes... we'd like to see the caves too next time we're in the area! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching! 😊
Really enjoy following your journey! Keep em coming!
Kentucky highway 90 east of bowling green is an awesome ride 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the tip! We'll have to check that out!
Wow! Lots of history there! Thanks for the tips!
I checked today and Bernheim no longer allows on site camping 😔
If you’re ever in that area try Red State Barbecue exit 120 off of 75 interstate
We were in Maine and VT this summer (those videos are in the edit queue). We'll be heading west in 2019 and can't wait! Thanks for watching! 😊
When you were in Corinth you should have gone on up to Williamstown to visit the Ark.
Great minds! 😀 Welcome to our channel! 😊
I have to second Linda Rose’s comment. Maker’s Mark was one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen, and there are many in KY.
Definitely on the list for next time! 😊 Thanks for watching!
Love Buffalo Trace.
But Makers Mark with the new restaurant is our favorite.
John
We live on rt. 127 in southern ky.
Will have to check that out next time we're in the area! Thanks for watching! 😃
Another great video! thanks for sharing!
Excellent video I love
Thanks Carlos!😎
You guys were in my area! love Buffalo Trace!!!
Next time you all come to KY we should ride the Craft bourbon trail together!!!
Hit me up if you need any more info on Frankfort, KY area. Our home base in the 5th-wheel is just south on the Kentucky River and I'm from Louisville. Enjoy your vids bunches.
I just recently found you guys. When you talk about a work day. What is it that you are employed at?
HI, John! Welcome to our channel! 😊
Between the two of us, we have 2.5 full-time jobs.
I ate mostly jet exhaust on the flight deck of the TR.. 😎 Thank you for your service and thanks for checking out our channel! 😊
Next time you come to Kentucky come to Bardstown. We are "Bourbon capital of the world"
Awesome! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! 😊
We love to ride through small towns also. Great video.
The bourbon trail is great time did that in 2014
I just found your channel this week. I'm enjoying the videos. What kind of dog you have ? Thinking of getting one for my wife for her birthday.
Daisy is a Morkie (Maltese Yorkie mix). Hypoallergenic (no shedding) to boot! Be sure to send us pics if you get her a puppy! 🐶 Thanks for watching!
We live in Louisville next time you are in the area let us know. Would love to meet up with you and grab a beer.
What do you use to keep away from low bridges? That one in the video looked low.
We use the CoPilot RV App (copilotgps.com/en-us/rv-navigation/). You put in all the specs for the rig and it routes accordingly. 😎
I will be in the market soon and want to go for my last motorcycle so i am taking my time
To get the right bike!
Drink it with Root beer is really good!!!!!!
Hey Ya'll
I see you have already been to Buffalo Trace.
Thank you! Bookmarking this for when we're back in the area.. 😊 Thanks for following our journey! 😊
We're not bourbon drinker either but that bourbon cream looked good!
It's delicious by itself and with root beer! Thanks for watching! 😊
Love the music in this video. Who was it?
Changing Lanes Thanks for following up Chad & Tara!
Could you tell me where you bought those red pads for the stabilizer feet
The red "cans" under out jacks in the video are Andersen Jack Blocks. We don't use them anymore because we've broken NINE of them (6 we bought and 4 replacements they sent us). Simply unreliable. The same company is supposed to be coming out with something called "stackers" that will help with the jack extension / stability and integrate with the snappads. We'll be keeping our eyes out and do a video on those when they come out. But, we've been using the RVSnapPads for several months now and really like them. They are cheaper direct versus Amazon, and if you use our link / code, you can get another $10 off: rvsnappad.com/discount/LANES10
Thanks for watching! 😊
Great, now I have to find Burbon Cream
Joseph Bruce Lol Yes you definitely do!!😃
106 you go just found you …. your great
I get the hard hat tour free every time I go to work on their Steam Turbine.
Very cool! Or... hot maybe? LOL Thanks for watching!
< -- - - Newark, Ohio ! Good luck guyz
Does the stock charging system in the bike charge the lithium battery ok or completely?
While I haven't verified the charge details, we have had zero issues starting even when she's been just sitting all week. So, seems to be working quire well.
What is it you put under your front leveling jacks

Daisy is so teeny 😍
LOL!)
LOL! Phil is a different channel (@youmeandtherv), but note taken! No Babe's on the birthday! 🥳
Are you a member of Good Sam if so do you like it?
We hope to add solar and upgrade to Lithium next year.. 😎
@@ChangingLanes Lucille's battery referred to, sorry. Sounds good on the "house" batteries. Maybe Electric Heating too ! Save that propane for the griddle and refrigerator ! Check out "Lifeline" battery co. Best in the business and they supply the aircraft industry needs. West Covina, CA and Georgia. lifelinebatteries.com/knowledge-center/compare-battery-types/
Ahhh. yea.. Replaced Lucile's battery with this lithium one already: Antigravity ATX20-RS Lithium RE-START Battery: amzn.to/2yk7Uvd Built in jump start! 😎
Still scratching my head if your online purchases are being mailed to your current RV park or future RV park or someplace else. LOL
Usually a little of both. Pop it in Amazon and see the delivery estimate... send it to the next place if needed... We have to go clear out our Amazon addresses every few months. LOL
Recently found and love your channel. Enjoy the interactions between the two of you, hope to perhaps follow in your footsteps, I can work from anywhere that has Internet and my wife could very easily do the same!
👋🏻 Ellenton☀️🏝🇺🇸
Nice area! Don't worry, no snide comments from this Harley guy... don't need any bad karma. :-)
No way! Bikers need all the good karma we can get to stave off the gremlins! 😎
