Can you still wear a red lip over 50? YES YOU CAN!

So Many ladies over 50 ask me if they can still wear a red lip? I was recently asked how I created the look with Denise Welch, so I thought I would show you on my mum who NEVER wears a red lip.
Top Tip is to put the lipstick on before you do your eye makeup - this way gives you a good indication as to how heavy to go on the eyes. My suggestion is to keep the eyes naturally contoured, with mascara & liner and some subtle end lashes if you have the confidence. We LOVE Hello Dame Lashes- they are easy to apply, 3/4 length so keep the eyes open and wide and heavier towards the outer edge to give that pretty 'flick' at the edge.
The Code 8 red lip has a hint of pink in it - great for someone who is shy of going full red, and the fact that it is matte means that it's less in your face than a glossy, shiny lipstick.
