Dave, Your the exact reason I purchased your fully tubular / coil over front & rear QA1 system for my 69 C-10. Currently being installed at Kugel Komponents in La Habra. I can't wait to drive it. Thanks for your quality product & videos.
Seth Rosa I totally agree. I never experienced the ride of QA1 suspension. I sure heard alot about them. But I have been fascinated with there products for a while. They look bitch'n. I pray QA1 is willing to manufacture for Toyota pickups. Man oh man please take my 1986 toyota pickup for a test fit haha. 😁
You guys are going to make me have to rewatch lucky Costas truck build to see if he's got the full kit or just the coilovers. But anyway nice kit wished I had the money.
I did some research on the differences of the 1972 to 1977 chassis the difference is 2” wide so my question is if I can make it work doing modification on it?
We actually have a separate rear kit for the 73-87 c10s! This kit in the video will only work for the 63-72 c10. Visit our website at www.QA1.net/c10 for more info!
Sorry, I misspoke earlier, we don't offer coilovers for 99-06, but we do offer shocks for the front and back. For the fronts, you can choose your adjustability level on the 507 series shocks. www.qa1.net/suspension/street-performance-racing-shocks-struts-and-pro-coil-systems/stocker-star-non-coil-over-shocks/507-aluminum-stocker-star-shock For the rear You can get single, double, or non-adjustable shocks with the 905 series shocks. www.qa1.net/suspension/street-performance-racing-shocks-struts-and-pro-coil-systems/stocker-star-non-coil-over-shocks/905-aluminum-stocker-star-shock
I have a 1970 c10 with front disk brakes and am getting ready to order your front end kit can i run my factory spindle or do i have to buy the squarbody front spindle
Yes the front system requires some cutting. Here is a link to our install instructions if you want to look them over! If you have any other questions, you can call our techs at 952-985-5675 www.qa1.net/assets/uploads/documents/intallation_guides/9919-221_REV_1-8-19_52610-52611.pdf
The front kit will offer up to 1-3" with a standard spindle and 3-5" with a drop spindle. Our 63-72 c10 rear suspension kit will offer up to 6" of drop and the 73-87 c10 rear suspension kit allows 4-7" of drop.
Will all of the Rea components work on the 8618. On the website everything is listed for the older model except the front control arms and coilover Springs
The front components, includig shocks, control arms, and sway bar, all work for 63-87 C10s. As of right now, the rear components will only fit 63-72 C10s.
Looks like an amazing product. Why is it only notched on one side? I would like to upgrade my truck, but cutting in the chassis isn't an option here. So if that's an option, without the notch, I'm interested.
Hi there! It should work, but I would recommend calling and speaking to our tech for the best recommendation on a setup and so we can get more information on your conversion. 952-985-5675 Thanks!
QA1 thanks for the reply, I'm actually considering converting to truck arms in the back, I want the van to be low but handle & still have adjustability.
Well, if you call our tech line, they'll be able to answer any questions you might have, and give you a few suggestions when you get started. Sounds like a fun build!
The '62 C10s used a torsion bar while the 63 and later used a coil spring. There have been some people that have swapped to a 63 or later K-member to allow for use of many of these products. You can always call our tech line at 952-985-5675!
This will not fit the C20, but we do offer a similar front suspension system for these trucks. www.qa1.net/automotive/suspension/classic-trucks-conversion-systems/1967-1986-chevy-c20-1987-1991-chevy-r20-coil-over-front-suspension-kits

Where did you purchase it? I checked their website and it is not posted. Thank you

I got a 71 and got a CCP 71-72 drop spindle with their brake kit. What’s needed to make this work?
Thank you brother Interesting.
What brand wheel and tires and sizes? Very nice setup. I have the front and rear system on my 65 c10
Had any issues with the coilovers leaking or any problems? I'm looking at purchasing. Thank you
Please please please do coilover kits in all corners for the s10!
We have you covered for the front, but I'll pass along the request for a rear system, thanks!
@@QA1TECH no thank you!

Wonder if QA1 will offer a coil over setup for 99-06 gm trucks
We do have coilovers for the front of 99-06 Silverado 1500s and Sierra 1500s with 2WD, as well as rear shocks. Thanks Luis!
QA1 what’s the part number for them

We may still be able to help you get coilovers that will work, but you'll need to call our tech line to make sure they'll fit on your truck.
I have a 1970 c10 with front disk brakes and am getting ready to order your front end kit can i run my factory spindle or do i have to buy the squarbody front spindle
Our control arms come with 73-87 ball joints, so you will need a square body spindle.
Does imstalling any of this stuff require any cutting of the front stock a arm mounts?
Yes the front system requires some cutting. Here is a link to our install instructions if you want to look them over! If you have any other questions, you can call our techs at 952-985-5675 www.qa1.net/assets/uploads/documents/intallation_guides/9919-221_REV_1-8-19_52610-52611.pdf
Nice !
Question- how low can these shocks go? 5.5/8 is what I would want, is that possible?
The front kit will offer up to 1-3" with a standard spindle and 3-5" with a drop spindle. Our 63-72 c10 rear suspension kit will offer up to 6" of drop and the 73-87 c10 rear suspension kit allows 4-7" of drop.

What wheels are on this model frame?
Can't find this kit on your website. Is it not available yet?
What's the price for that kit????
Looks like an amazing product.

Did you ever buy this setup? I'm considering it but also don't want to notch frame at all.
I I recently bought it front call over suspension kit for my 1977F 100 do you guys have the same system for the rear .?
We currently only offer a front suspension system for the 73-79 F100. We do not have a system for the rear at this time.
Can I use 2.5 drop spindles from cpp 1970 spindles
Yes you can. Our front C10 systems do require the use of 73-87 spindles.
The rear coil over is a universal or is only for c10? Is this also fits on my 1977 f100 ?
This rear kit only fits the 63-72 c10. We currently do not offer a rear kit for the 73-79 F100.
I have purchased this kit and I really like the wheels and tires can you give me all the details on them?
How much was it?
Irvin Hernandez 5000 for complete setup. That includes front and rear sway bars. I don’t suggest the rear sway bars if you are running a Currie 9”
Very nice setup what brand and size wheels
The wheels are from Rocket Racing. Front; 20x8.5 wheels, 255/45/20 tires. Rear; 20x10 wheels, 295/40/20.
Does this work if you have a long to short bed conversion on it
Hi there! It should work, but I would recommend calling and speaking to our tech for the best recommendation on a setup and so we can get more information on your conversion. 952-985-5675 Thanks!
Got anything for 1953 3600 suspension?
Not at this time, but may be able to make a shock setup work depending on your specs. Give us a call! 952-985-5675

Hi Brian - All C10 front kits have the u-bolts for the control arms. Please reach out to our Customer Service team if you didn't receive them. Thanks!
Will it work with a 10 bolt
Our rear 63-72 truck arm system only works with the 12-bolt as of right now.
What about 2wd blazer? '81 specifically
Hi there! The front system will work for your Blazer, but the rear system will not. The rear frame rails are different.
would the front setup would work on my 94 vandura 2500? thanks
Sorry, no. I'll send that request to our engineers, though.
QA1 thanks for the reply, I'm actually considering converting to truck arms in the back, I want the van to be low but handle & still have adjustability.

What brand front spindle and brake setup was installed for this demo?

I have a 2wd 1986 toyota pickup I would like to donate for test fitting. 😁 Willing to drive from Southern California.
We'll add it to the list of suggestions for the engineers to look at! And we'll make sure to give you a call if we need a test vehicle! 👍
QA1🙏 that would be so wonderful. Thank you. #Dream email sleeksorn83@gmail.com 😁
What la the price?

My little redheaded stepchild "62" C10 is left out in the cold again. Am I the only one in the country building a "62"?
The '62 C10s used a torsion bar while the 63 and later used a coil spring. There have been some people that have swapped to a 63 or later K-member to allow for use of many of these products. You can always call our tech line at 952-985-5675!
I know how you feel. I have a 1960.
Can this be put on a C20 8ft bed?
