Upgrade your classic Chevy C10 truck to a modern driving feel and performance. This kit has everything to convert your front end to coil-overs and a tubular crossmember with rack-and-pinion steering. Already have QA1 coil-overs and control arms? We also offer kits that adapt your current parts to be used with with the crossmember.
FULL C10 CROSSMEMBER KITS
This is a great way to overhaul your suspension in one go, giving you adjustable ride height to achieve the perfect stance with up to 8” of drop. All while dialing in the ideal ride quality and performance for your application while reducing weight by 140 lbs. over stock.
Rack and Pinion Steering
Powered rack-and-pinion offers quicker steering and a tighter feel. Plus, increase steering angle when fitting larger wheels and tires, and improve geometry for enhanced drivability.
Increased Ground Clearance
The crossmember and control arms make your undercab rails the truck’s lowest point. Adjustable upper shock mounts increase travel for a great ride and performance, even at low ride heights.
Adjustable Shock Valving
Choose from three shock options to achieve your ideal balance of adjustability, ride quality and performance
Single-adjustable shocks make it easy to tune your ride quality in seconds with the twist of a knob.
Double-adjustable shocks offer independent rebound and compression tunability. Great for trucks that will see track time or drivers who really want to dial in ride quality on the street.
MOD Series shocks offer advanced high-speed and low-speed adjustment for maximum tunability. The modular valve packs and force curves are made for top-tier drag racing and pro touring drivers.
Easy, Bolt-In Installation
The crossmember comes powder coated and ready to install. No need to cut or weld your frame. It easily locates the steering rack, and you can choose mounts (sold separately) for common engines.
Yesterday I woke up and had some sort of terminal stage 4 flu virus. Knowing that the QA1 front suspension video was coming out today on luckies channel at 6AM kept me going. After watching, I can say not only am I cured, but that I’m investing into my 67 c10 now with this kit. Diversifying my financial situation with car parts. Amen.
Glad to hear everything is ok!!!! 😂🏁🏁🏁🏁
To hold and suspend the engine, I built an adjustable cradle in 1977. Heavy pipe, sliding outer supports with a long handle on nut with 1/2” all-thread w/hook. Still have it and works great. (Note; If using cross pipe and sliding stands of 8” tall from bottom, drill, weld a 3/4” nut to tighten so it cannot rock while sitting on inner fender flanges.) This will make it very stable depending on the work you are doing. FWD, RWD or 4X4 or servicing oil pan.

I wanted to thank you guys for the video you've helped a lot with my project for qa1 front and rear '69 C10. I must confess one thing that drove me crazy was all the Jackie stand references using your cordless tool which are incredibly handy, but having spent much time installing, hitches and what not on truck frames all we ever used was air tools. It took me literally 20 minutes to drill out all the holes in the entire front end using air tools. Notice the rear had some hardened rivets that were a little tougher but with the right bits and air tools The job would have been done before a chance to set up a jack stand
What a great feature you added with the external perspective!!! Awesome
Glad you liked it!
My puppy is so photogenic! Thanks for letting me tag along for lunch!
Jack is a cool dog! Thanks for joining us for Tacos!
Nothing like a low calorie donut! That setup is so sweet!
Donuts mid day. ... lucky... you're my hero. You're awesome 👌 dude.
I appreciate that!
This is a sweet product, brother. One day, the wife and i will put that QA1 suspension on all four corners of our 72 chevelle, and what a glorious day that will be. Great work, big guy, and have a great weekend.
Great how to LUCKY. Man, that gorgeous little cutie at the end of the leash.......and yeah the the dog was sweet too!
Waiting for this as I need to install my kit soon.
Love seeing upgrades to the shop truck.
Right about the time you lit them up I was saying to myself this empty spot is the perfect………..haha good job
I love this truck!!!
Thank you!!
Oh man nothing cuter than a Chocolate Lab puppy 😁
Those tacos look amazing 🍻
They are yummy
The truck is looking good great job You did.... keep up the videos we love you out here in Pennsylvania.
Thanks for the support!!!!
Not that you need them, but that looks like a good way to support an engine when building custom mounts. Nice and stable, and you can get the engine perfectly level from side to side.
Very true!!
I need this on my 67 and some of those tacos too….
Love seeing what your up too Lucky your a legend mate keep it up
Thanks for watching
Looks like a really nice kit. Handling improved! Seems like Yall missed a turn there due to a handling issue. Have to try that again to see if you can figure out the issue.
Ya, I bought drop spindles before I decided on wilwood. I thought, I’ll wait to order the wilwood spindle until I’m sure mine won’t work….. uh huh, gotta use the Wilwood spindle!!!
Those cable limiters are for when you take it over those sweet jumps!
A great fun video Lucky. Happy cinco de mayo good sir. Nice work on the beast. Janet jackstand was lookin good buddy careful how you handle her. 😂😂😂
Great work on that steady, who knew old FWD methods would work so good !
Ahhh I see the coiloevrs 😂 Nice steering and lca upgrade!
Thank you!
I see you have spare quarters for your Chevelle, NICE!
Best shop truck ever!
Thanks
That's sick and the food looks great.
Thanks for the full vid on the install. Looks pretty damn sweet, but not as good as those tacos! Have a good one, Lucky! ✌️❤️🙂🇨🇦
Thanks for watching from Canada!!
Great job 👍👍
Thanks for watching
Thank you for your thoughts
Way to recover in that corner I saw that oil spot thank goodness it was a closed taco course
Truck is amazing
Thanks for the video 😅
Thanks for watching
Nice looking set up.
My front springs are 850’s but I went with a 496. I’m hoping that will keep the front on the stiffer side
Kickass install really dig it 👌
Thanks ! Really digging the new QA1 crossmember kit.
She’s a beaut Clark
Man! Looks amazing!!!
It's Friday and need some Luck(y).
Que padre de suspencion
Lucky 👍👍
Thank you🏁🏁
Thats one nice truck. Curious what the difference is between the new and old Qa1 lower arms ?
Please share with us what spindles you went with and what for brakes
All my hardware was correct , however 2 stickers were up side down.
I sent pictures , and in a couple days replacements arrived.
Lucky you might have to do a few more test drives, looks like the truck is smoking a little lol!
lol at lucky taking over an intersection hahaha That was badass! I can't condone that type of behavior.
@3:350 is there a subframe? All I saw was that gorgeous red Mustang.
Give it hell lucky
Dude!!! Wow!! Tacos!!!! ✌️
On the upper A arm, I don’t understand why the bolts are soooooo long , one on either side of the shock. Conversely, I had a lot of bolts that didn’t quite long enough to breach the nylon in the Nyloc???
Great content. What gauge cluster is that in the dash?
Nice engine hoist 😮, btw what trans cooler are you running , like the location
Do we really need this much notice?
So rad man! What seat are you using in the truck? I have a 70 c10. I need a seat that'll work with my ratchet shifter.
Could the welds be a factory thing? Reason I ask is I’m building a 70 c10 and it has those 1 inch welds too
I have a feeling about this one...
Did the kit come with the heim joint support for the steering shaft?
Hey Lucky love the truck and the Chevelle. I saw you at the Temecula rod run this Saturday but didn’t get a chance to say hi. Anyways I built the flat black C10 that was at the corner of 4th street and was wondering if you checked it out.
Next time stop by and say hello.
How did you hook up steering shaft and power steering lines?
Hmmm. Wonder if they make a kit for a 3/4 ton IH?
How much caster does the new set up have?
Love the QA1 stuff.
What did you decide to do with the front break lines ?
Run the on the back side of the new crossmember?
What spindles do you have? Obviously CPP, but dropped?
I’m in the middle of doing mine and i rand into an issue with the UCA mounting studs hitting a factory bend on the frame. Did you have the same issue?
Are those drop spindles or regular?
Lucky, what size front wheels and tires you have?
nice enginenewoodie
QA was just testing you on those jamb nuts🤔
What about Stand Lee
Lucky you have a good life!!! LOL
I pulled motor and transmission got it out of way so it would not be so hard
NNNNNICE!
Thank you!! We love AMD!!!
what wheels are on your 67 c10?
14:12 Caitlyn Jackstand?
👍
What wheels do you have? If you don’t mind me asking
esajianwheel.com
What’s up with your old front suspension!??
I can drive down and pick it up. Trade you for some og AR daisy wheels
You do not show how to hook up power rack to steering column or sway bar. why?
Because it was so simple.
Do you have a link to your wheels AKA “rims”?
esajianwheel.com
i like to see lucky doing burnouts,i think he drives better than tony, finnigan or frieburger
Hugh jackstand
❤🇱🇷👍😁 it will work
Does this make your truck Transvehicular? It's a truck but it identify as a sports car. Just make sure you don't dead name it and call it a pickup
Kind of gives it a new meaning when you D R A G it
Time for a handling challenge between your truck and the Crown Hick. Along with the effort put in each and a cost comparison
I like Lucky better than Alex, because Lucky actually builds cars!
Have you many C&I ‘s?😂
Donutz before tacos.....
Reverend Jesse Jackstand? 😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Can’t hide money. 😂
Electrical working clearance? Never heard of her! Just Sheetrock over it.
Giveaway for the old lowers and rack?
I'm just my 67 doesnt have any aftermarket parts on the front yet and I definitely was planning on swapping over. Not to mention I'd love to have some of the shop truck parts on my truck proudly
Paint the fender already
Hey Lucky sell me your old stuff lol....
Or everything for that matter
lol
Qa1 has been terrible to work with. There instructions are so bad!! Honestly I would stay away. There still trying to figure out all the noises the suspension is causing on my mustang. Supposed to be sending engineers to my house to look at there shit products and see why there making so much noise.
Update, they sent me new suspension this time the strut adjustment actually did something but now when you compress and uncompressed the strut you get a loud noise that does not move very will that skips and sounds like something is stuck. Got a refund finally going to Viking.
