- With great pleasure, we filmed the fantastic Honda NSX Project "Rossana" by Simoni Racing during the first stage of the Time Attack Italia 2023 championship at the Mugello circuit. The pilot and owner, Alan Simoni, was very kind in providing us with this onboard where it's possible to see his best time, 1'58.071, which earned him the class victory and third place in the racing standings. The transformation of the car to become a competitive track car boasts a very long list of components, parts and processes; I refer you to the complete video of the project, which you can find at this link: • Honda NSX Project Time...
Aesthetically we find a Rocket Bunny kit while the 3.0-Liter V6 DOHC VTEC engine has been moved with enormous work; now, it is in a longitudinal position, no longer transverse. This allowed the installation of a 6-speed Sadev SL-90 sequential gearbox with steering wheel controls, AP Racing clutch and lightened flywheel. The engine develops 423hp at 8,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 407 Nm at 5,500 rpm; the car is very light, weighing only 1,050 kg. I have to thank my friend and RUclipsr @19Bozzy92, with whom I collaborated to realise this video. Enjoy! 😉

Such a beautiful time attack race car.
This is exact type of content i'm in for and you provide every time.
Thank you, you're so kind. It's not easy to film these cars because access to the Time Attack championship in Italy is practically closed to the media. There are fantastic cars like this NSX, and I would love to film more, but also, in the future won't be easy.
@@Italiansupercarvideo Closed to the media? That's criminal given how awesome it is.
@@hillclimbracingfan5821 Yes, you're perfectly right. I could film a lot of these beautiful cars to publish on the channel but there is no possibility to access the track.
@@Italiansupercarvideo But why?What's the reason?
@@hillclimbracingfan5821 The reason is that they have their staff taking photos and videos. I am very sorry for this decision. A few years ago, I and some other guys were allowed in despite their official media. Everyone did what they had to do in harmony. Unfortunately, things have changed, and you may have noticed that I no longer follow the Time Attack championship. I went to the first stage at the Mugello circuit because it's a track that you can also film from the outside, but unfortunately, most of the racetracks aren't that accessible; at most, I could stay in the pits and on the straight. All are significantly limiting for me.
Thank you very much for another fantastic video. 🫡👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻
Thank you 😉👍
Video stupendo👍
Grazie 😉👍
Nicht schlecht, 2-Mal hatte ich auch mal einen. 🥰
Haben Sie in der Vergangenheit einen Honda NSX besessen? 👀
Had Lancia kept on building Stratos' they would have built a similar car to the NSX, only 20 years earlier! The footcam is nuts. Not sure I could drive a semi automatic manual paddle shift car! I drove a 1st gen NSX, definitley a memorable experience.
Did you drive a Honda NSX? Do you want to tell me something?
@@Italiansupercarvideo
I did. It had 6200 miles on it and the back tires were to the threads. We installed a new pair and the shop told me to test it out. From the drivers position it looked like a Civic from then, but it all felt different. Once the engine started behind you, this was obviously no Civic. Driving it made me respect Honda more than ever. You have to admit, the 1st gen NSX made Ferrari make better cars to compete! I would be more likely to buy an aircraft than an exotic car, but an NSX could be the one.
@@upsidedowndog1256 You are absolutely right, I remember that in the early 90s Honda rewrote the history of mid-engine GTs with this car. Do you confirm that the whole car is a perfect balance of weight, steering, shifting and driving pleasure? I've always had a great admiration for the first generation NSX and in my heart it remains the only one. The current one is too different from the purity of the first series.
@@Italiansupercarvideo
Yes, the 1st gen Acura NSX WAS perfect in every way I can imagine a car could be. Almost like riding a nice sportbike. Power and handling to spare, well balanced and easy to drive. Just idling around at legal speeds. Felt like a weapon ready to be unleashed. Once unleashed, Holy Shit! This is a HONDA??!!!
@@upsidedowndog1256 Thank you for your testimony. It confirms once again how good that car was and how capable Honda was before throwing away all its knowledge and starting to build useless appliances on wheels like any generalist company.
This thing better be fast because it is ugly as hell, reminds me of a Pontiac Fiero.
