Great video. I bought the tweezers and electronic screwdrivers. They are great. The tweezers are as you describe then. The fine pointed one do line up. Excellent reviews. Thank you.
Hi Dan. You can't fault the prices can you. Even if you have to replace them after a few years, still winning on some of the expensive ones. Great vlog bud. DELPH JUNCTION
I believe those Calipers, unlike the previous version, have a circumference measuring option. Also, there are two methods for measuring depth, with them.
The calipers discharge the battery even when not being used. Best to remove the battery when not in use and pop it in the space in the foam in the box.
agree here. Always a disappointment when you come to use the thing and it is flat! . ironically I bought another cheap plastic set off ebay with only .1 digit accuracy (ok for most things) and it has the original battery in it and doesn't run down with the battery left in.. go figure. Why can't they do this for the other metal ones like this in the video escapes me.
With those clamps, you can take off the fixed jaw, by removing the red headed screw, and fit the jaw onto the other end, turning it into a kind of lightweight toe jack. 🙂
I have the digital callipers and they are spot on and I use them a lot. Highly recommended. The one hand clamps are good too. Thanks for this round up/review. Anyone used the Lidl arc/stick welder? One thing about Aldi and Lidl is that they always sell 125mm grinder wheels and moon is 115mm , so I'm always disappointed when I see them on the shelf
Brought the soldering iron, bit disappointed with the base. It was very lightweight and tended to move around when trying to place the iron in it. Also brought stepped drills, not used them yet.
If you are worried about damaging electronic components by static get an earth strap and mat. An insulated tool not going to protect your circuits when you handle them.
Hi Dan. Thanks for showing us all these. Hope you’ve got plenty of tool space in your shed! 😮😊
Love the tools from aldi and lidl
With a bit of bodgery you can turn the clamps around and make them spreaders as well.
Very good 👍
Hi Dan , I use digital calipers at work all the time. My biggest use at home is measuring the size of bolts and nuts when you need a bloody spanner.

Thankyou for the tips and video

Wow, a digital caliber without the mysterious connection!

Hi Dan i got a set of those tweezers the other day,and for the price they are excellent! Next up a screwdriver pack me thinks ;)
I have a couple of sets of the calipers, and from my experience it's a good idea to remove the battery if not being used for a while.

Not the best of quality for real jobs but for modelling purposes this stuff is ideal.
I pick it up whenever I can 😄

One must keep the battery removed when not in use as it somehow drains the battery while being off!
Amazon did some 200mm digital callipers, had inch,mm and fractional and was near enough that same money

I've found that with all stand alone iron stands. I just attach them with double sided tape to a tile.
@@johnwickham4481 I've had several stands this one is by far the lightest, however I take your advice, thanks for the comment.
Tried them countersink they stop spinning can't get the grub screw tight enough they weren't aldi though hopefully yours are better all the best
Ive got quite a few power tools from the Parkzone label, and they are equal, to my Bosch tools, but at a fraction of the price
good vid
Similar gloves in home/bargain, B&M for 99p a pair

Ok, I have never seen any of these items in any ALDI's here in the US, am I missing something? Connecticut to be precise.
only the solder iron fm Aldi i believe, all others fm Lidl.
i get this aldi Caliper in Germany by Aldi for 6,99 €
You always need screwdrivers because the 5 min rules makes them disappear often!

Interesting but annoying keep talking about your modeling,a bit annoying
I never saw tools at Aldi. They don't like handicapped people.
