Hi i live in California i was driving in the freeway their was traffic it was 3 pm heading towards la a person was distracted and rear ended me going around 40mph i heard his brakes and out of nowere hit me mind their was traffic and i wasnt stopped my car was going around 10mph the thing is i dont have insurrance but he does i have a chevy cobalt 2007 with 101k miles what what occur in this case since i do not have insurrance i was not hurt but my car was damaged bumper is mest up and the trunk wont close anymore also he admitted to me he was at wrong he said he was distracted because if his kids and apoligized i let his insurrance know that aswell do you know what would happen

It's the policy holders fault for allowing access to the vehicle, & they're fault for not listing all drivers.
Here is my situation. in the state of FL.
A lady ran me off the road. Causing me to hit someone els's car that was parked on their driveway.
The lady's car was not hit by my car because I swerved out of the way to avoid hitting her. No one was in the parked car that I hit.
The lady is at fault but she has a suspended license, no insurance, and is driving her daughter's car not her own. I don't know her medical condition but she looks to be blind on her left eye.
I have full coverage but I DO NOT have UM/UIM and my car is a total loss. I unfortunately also do not have rental coverage.

This took place in Illinois back in 2010 I was in an accident (determined to be my fault) in my father's van that he did not have insurance on. To get my license back I must 1. Get an SR22 2. pay off $8,000 towards the other driver's vehicle damage. I did not have that money then or now and was homeless from 2011 until 2014. I receive SSI due to a disability. I have a disabled/seniors ride free on public transit card but being able to drive again will help. I know I will need to get an SR22 but It is 2022 which is over 10 years, is there any way that the $8,000 will be forgiven?

Then you file a claim with the at fault persons insurance company if they have it. If they dont and you can prove they are at fault then the only thing you can do is sue them for damages but good luck getting them to pay you.
