Excellent review fellas! I've been checking out Motion for a while now. With you guys on board that's all I need. Keep em coming!
That sound is amazing
Superbe plaine! I was born in 1949 and I ha' always loved that plane! I am going to get me one after a little more practice! Thanks to yu two!
Sounds so real, Hope to see More Reviews on Products from Motionrc.com
out of all the Freewing f-86 flights I've seen.. and that includes MRC, I keep coming back to this one. The way the model was captured by camera is just phenomenal. The pilot wasn't even doing anything fancy and he didn't have to. It speaks for itself just being in the air.
Awesome aircraft. Thumbs up to the great skills of the pilot.
Wow! Sounds awesome
Very nice Video with old flight stuff Thumb Up
THAT SOUND!!! WOW
Awesome flight, nice model
I have the a-6 and it sounds just like this, freewing makes some awesome jets. Are you gonna do a review on the new yak 130?
Great review guys, the jet looks and sounds great. Are you going to do a review on the new freewing stinger 90mm too? I have been told that's a great model as well!
Thanks! For now, we have the 80mm A6E Intruder and a couple RocHobby planes on schedule.
Can you knife edge this F86? Does it do any high alpha?
Nice video as always guys.
Thumbs Up ~ Eric
Nice flights, thanks for sharing.
I know this is an old vid but I ask anyway *-) Whats the glide slope like? when I power off my old 55mm sabre it has a glide slope very similar to a house brick thrown off the roof! MUST have at least 50% of power on to land or its a crash! LOL! oh I forgot great vid fellas thanks for sharing
your camera man needs to learn how to zoom out to give a full focus picture of the plane and it's surroundings. It helps with that feeling of speed.
AMIGOS ONDE POSSO COMPRAR DESSA BATERIA..???
Nice flight! I just picked up a used one. My wife asked, "what does the Native American picture mean on the jet?" I tried to Google it, but nothing came up. Any guesses why its on there?
But Motion RC is out until 8/4 ????? I am one of their biggest fans, but 2 months?
I'd kinda like to know what the flops are so I know what to avoid and why.
Yeah, double edged sword there. Not a manufacturer on the planet will work with you if you honestly publish the flops. Magazines will cover flops because they need the ad $$, their contract writers want free gear and they'll pass it all off as acceptable, with maybe a few insignificant "cons". We strike a compromise by not reporting if it's a flop but only covering the stuff we find is a good value. They still don't like it a whole lot and some manufacturers don't like it at all (their products are strikingly absent from our coverage..hint..hint) but some stand by their credibility and found the coverage to be more valuable, even if it costs them some gear now and then. We are funded by the manufacturers so this is the only way we can stay credible with you guys AND them. You can ALWAYS hit us up on the web site and we'll let you know the "off the record" if you're interested in a flop we've tested. A lot of people do. Thanks for watching!
2BrothersHobby Yeah I have a very limited income so I try to get the best value I can. Been flying helis for a couple of years and just got into planes as well.
What size turbine is in it? Ha! That EDF sounds awesome!
it says 80mm !
Still a great video 😅
hey guys, can you please explain to me why the sound is so profound? like i've owned tons of EDFS, but they never have THAT sound? can you shed some light? thanks! :)
It makes that sound because it has a 12 blade fan. The 5 or 6 blade fans make that high pitched whining sound
+Jordan Long my durafly vampire has a 6 blade fan and it sounds a like a real jet. Explain that one..:-)
sirlordwhitman I can't explain it lol. My freewing f-22 raptor has a 64mm 5 blade fan and it has a nice whooshing jet sound. I installed a 12 blade fan in my stinger 64 and it almost has more of a whining sound now than it did with a 5 blade. Not sure why lol
+Jordan Long also noticed that the whooshing sound is more pronounced in high winds between 15 and 20 mph. more turbulence hitting the fan makes a damn cool turbine noise. makes for great downwind flybys too
sirlordwhitman I've noticed that too. I've always loved that jet sound. It's nice that these electric foam jets exist so we don't have to spend thousands on a real turbine powered jet!
nice plane i want one. I notice in the USA this is $300 that's £181 in UK money .But if I source this plane in the UK £339 that's $560 !!!! .Can anyone tell me why the vast difference.
oohaahbird I know 2 year late reply but.. I think all that is adjusted for the cost of living. People in U. K. must be rolling in the money!
do you have 20% value added tax in the US, plus the exchange rate has dropped recently from $1.56 to$1.22
that jet sounds like a jet
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
299$+130+$ for 2 batteries, 70$ dollars freight to ship to canada....=500$....my oppinion, way to much for a foamie.
