*VIEWERS TAKE NOTE* The Unique Ability of the Secret Garden is NOT covered in this video as this is how to *BUILD* the gun and the build does not change irrespective of whether the unique ability is used or not. There is more or less only one exception to this and that is Freyna stacking Pest Control for max DPS (the ultimate may change specifically for this and will be covered when Ultimate Freyna releases). The Unique Ability of this gun is extremely good but depends on characters having the right kind of skill and overall, its use is circumstantial. For example: Characters with *DIMENSION* type skills will be able to recover unique resources (i.e. Gley's Power of Life) when they trigger their skills. While *TECH* type characters can increase their _Skill Power_ and _Firearm ATK_ via a buff called *Pest Control* that stacks up to 3 times - Both of these are extremely useful for any characters that uses lots of Tech skills in rapid successful to boost the stacks of Pest Control (hint: Esiemo, Freyna or a Pure Blizzard Viessa, take note)
EVERY video you make for TFD is premium. The accuracy, attention to details, and understanding you provide is amazing. Easily one of the best creators for this game! Request: Enzo and Enduring Legacy builds please. Thanks for the videos! Keep them coming
@justinm5353 Thanks, I want to work on Enzo, but I'm prioritizing ultimate descendants first. I will definitely work on him in future. Enduring Legacy will be done after season 1 starts.
From what I understand and watch in other vids, the DPS meter takes in account of reload time and "time spent firing" (aka how big the clip is). That's why Expanded Weapon Charge can affect the DPS number. The less time you spend shooting, the less your DPS. What the DPS meter does NOT account for is stuff like elements, weak points, ultimate mods, etc.
@@RealAsianRobot I've found that you reach a certain point where you need to do little additional farming to get weapons or descendants. 4/4 eisimo, 3/4 luna and kyle without even trying. blueprints for 3 copies of afterglow sword before i built the first one.
You should have stated that Mental Focus will work for everyone but they should put a Mag size mod in the last slot. And that the only benefit Gley provides with this gun is that she can keep the max stack up longer. Unlike the general round guns, this gun has a good base mag size and can go up to 71 rounds/mag. So you shoot 20 rounds you already get +30% ATK and always get 11 bullets at +90% ATK.
Using Gley is cheating because of the ammo, it shows her rather than the gun, especially mental focus builds. A true comparison would have not used that ability.
Not really, I explained initially that mental focus will still trigger and give you up to 36%. With Gley you can get more, but Real Life Fighter benefits the same from Gley 🤷♂️. It's literally the same. Furthermore the only other ultimate you can consider is Spray and Pray. So these are still the best ultimate choices. I hope this clarifies things
I replied to the OP but this is untrue. There are literally no other ultimate choices for this. So you have to pick between the two regardless. As explained in the vid. It does not matter if it's Gley or anyone else. With mental focus you get 36% on average based on the mag capacity alone and I stated this. Hope this clarifies things
He’s just killing the boss faster with gley, Mental Focus is still one of the bis mods to have. Sure it won’t do near as much dps without gley but other descendants can get the pest control buff which helps in general while using the weapon.
i feel like it's not really worth it putting on guns with more than ~35% crit rate. i just stack more dual crit damage mods, weak point, and/or elements. also i wish sharp precision shot worked with burst rifles.
You can go with that if you like, there is genuinely no right or wrong answer. If you want to super max the damage, you can so by swapping the crit rate mod for even more damage (if you want). I just prefer the higher rate as I find it gives me tons more consistency in my shots.
The higher the base crit rate of the weapon, the better return you get for using those mods. For 16 points (or 8 with a catalyst) with Better Insight you get 7.4% crit on a Thunder Cage, for example, or you get ~18.5% on Secret Garden. There's only so many crit damage or weak point mods you can put on a gun because they're limited by type, so there's no reason to just say "good enough" and not maximize your crit chance. Especially if you have Enzo or Valby boosting your firearm crit chance, with that one mod you're going from half your shots doing a crit to all or nearly all of them. It's a huge damage boost for a small investment.
If you're not using gley and are using another char, the best versatile option for mental focus is remove element dmg and put magazine capacity better to approach mental focus more
This is actually NOT a good suggestion. You still get (as per the video) 36% boosted damage on average with Mental Focus. Elemental damage is extremely important for min-maxing how quickly you kill off enemies. DO NOT ever sacrifice your elemental damage. It's crucial to actually killing bosses and the hardest enemies on time
@@RealAsianRobot not really, you're basically using half of the potential of this mod fr, with 48 bullets in magazine everytime you reload you're losing the accumulative buff If you wanna conserve the element mod is ok but is better and more consistent prioritize having the mental focus active, has no sense having this mod if you're only using it at half. PLUS: The attribute rate in this weapon is SO LOW (only 5%)
@@KevinPerez-yx4xj Attribute rate is unimportant. That's only for triggering the debuff. The elemental mod is straight up an extra 30% of elemental damage that is boosted against the target. You can test it in the lab. Attribute rate has nothing to do with the damage of an elemental mod. And even half the potential of mental focus is fine when combined with elemental damage, it's the best choice out of all of them. If you prefer a different one, be my guest, but having tested all of them, this is the conclusion I came to. If you like a different ultimate mod, use what works best for you :)
Hey man. Used your cheap lepic build to get through some HM bosses (thanks for that). Wondering if you have a cheap Ult Viessa build for pyromaniac HM?
once you add module cap, does that apply to all weps or you need to put energy activators on all guns to boost up to 80. plus this metal focus is a pain to farm,, i have the other two but not this one

Exactly why it's literally useless lol.
Inflating DPS is always worthless compared to actually dealing damage

How to build secret garden?
first you run 200+ outposts for the amorphous materials needed to get 5 nano tubes.
