The dart is a fun car. I did an Alpine single din with a 4 channel Alpine MRV-F300 and a JL 12 inch powered microsub. With Type R components in the front and Type S coax in the rear. I used the Metra side mounts and pocket but didn't use the bezel. It looked a bit off and the single din only required me to shave the factory bezel a bit. I made a panel to fit flush behind the factory bezel and it turned out nice. Although using the Metra bezel would have been much easier. My customer was pleased and really thats what's its all about. Nice video guys!
Five Star Car Stereo have you guys gotten into backup camera integration to existing factory screens? I just hooked up a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I was able to tie into the factory RSE inputs on the back of the radio. After that the dealership had to flash it. I'm trying to see if the same thing is possible in a 2017 Ford F150?
Can you install without the pac kit? I dont care if the radio steering wheel controls for the radio dont work but will the two buttons on the steering wheel work for the instrument cluster menu though?

How do you know how many volts your accessory wire is putting out or what wire is the accessory wire. Connected everything up and radio doesn’t turn on.
On the aux wires down by the floor board, do we use all the wires? Or just red brown and black? What do we do with the others if we don’t use them? And will the aux in the center console still work?

One thing I learned is that I may have to bring my Dark to a professional installer like yourselves because it is way more complected than what I thought. If I replace my original single Din but double DIN stereo with the original Dart 8.4 stereo, would I have to still make all those customization to fit the screen? Thanks and take care!
The 8.4 system is different, the dash bezel is the same, however on the Dart the screen is just a screen not like the newer challengers/chargers where the tuner is attached to the back of the screen. The actual tuner, antenna connections are located up behind the glove box. Its generally not going to be worth the effort to do such a conversion unless you got all the wiring, and parts for practically nothing.

you're going to need the wiring harness that comes with the toucscreen, module and the screen itself. so if you could find all three you should be abe to do the swap. but i insist that you buy the Re2 factory stereo instead of the newer Rb5 because you'd have to buy so much more accessories.
one other question when I installed the aftermarket radio I used an antenna adapter the 40eu-10 but since I want to go back to stock, will I need to remove the antenna adapter? to plug in the stereo ? or can I used that same one?

thatboyd86 I will add it to the list. Most of the Camry's we do, we remove that radio. They just don't sound that good in the first place adding amps does not help.
I just bought a Dart that obviously had some aftermarket sound system installed at some point. All the original equipment has been put back into its place but nothing got wired up. All speaker wires are cut up and the radio was disconnected. I put everything back to where its supposed to be and wired it all back up but I'm not getting any sound out of the system! Has anyone come across this or can someone lead me into a direction as to what I might have missed? Thanks in advance!

You need a proxy alignment. You can do it with alphaOBD, or can have a dealership do it.

My radio has power when it wants to any info why? Fuses are good it just has no power sometimes and comes on when it wants to

Yeah only the milage. All you have to do is go to the dealer and have them flash it to stop the blinking. It takes them literally 2 minutes to fix it.
