Frédéric François CHOPIN (1810-1849) was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist during the Romantic period. He wrote mainly for solo piano. He was an expert in the art of writing and playing. He tells stories through his music, evoking a wide range of emotions into every piece. Every note has purpose which brings about the magical effects and progression of a plot.
Chopin composed four 'Ballades'. Ballade No. 4 is the most challenging of all. Chopin composed two "Piano Concertos". Piano Concerto No. 2 is the more challenging of the two.
