Hey AutoPilot look at the size of that screen! That thing is massive. 20 minutes on the supercharger is pretty fast. Perfect for Palm Springs where it's warm and dry. All the flooding in NYC and the East Coast can be disastrous if water gets into the battery. Have you seen some of them videos?
I have not but that makes sense. I don't think I would own an EV, i like having the gas option. What if the power grid went down for a week, what would EV drivers do?
Yes, they have a bunch of different models here in Palm Springs, including EVs from other companies. It was even cheaper than some of the other rental car options. Thanks for watching and please subscribe to my channel.
TBH, I did not check or go into the trunk. I only used the Tesla official charging station with its own cable. I would think Budget can tell you what their car comes with if you are renting. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!!
@@pinoyclass I think you would either ask someone at the rental counter or call their customer service phone line. The only thing I found online is that there should be an adapter in the trunk for a non-Tesla charger, but that is not a plug-in cable for 110 or 220. Hello! I had a question that maybe you could answer, I’m renting the same Tesla here in a couple weeks, how does Budget charge you for the supercharger usage? Is there any fees? Thanks!
@@jasminespencer3992 With prepayment discount, it was $56 a day, which after PSP airport taxes and fees is $80 a day. That is with no extra insurance or coverage.
@@DriveWithFred_FreddySherman Heck, that's not bad for just the thrill of driving the state-of-the-art vehicle. Probably nice to have one for a 2-day trip from Miami to Key West and back.
Looking good sir.
Feeling good sir.
@@DriveWithFred_FreddySherman Hmmmm, are we trading places?

WOW, I had no idea that Electric cars (Tesla’s) could be rented from Budget. Thanks for the review/information.

Rented with Budget last week and they said they remove them from all their EVs.
@@pinoyclass Good to know, thank you. I wonder if you can request them before rental or at the counter?
@@DriveWithFred_FreddySherman I asked the exit gate person and they didn’t seem to know if it could be provided.

How much?
Base price for 2023 Long Range Model 3 is $47,240 or with lease payments about $450 a month (this was a 2022 so slightly less).
@@DriveWithFred_FreddySherman I meant how much for the rental!
