People have commented to me that they couldn’t homeschool because they couldn’t be around their kids all day. My thoughts have been that the only way to learn to live with your kids is to practice, and sending them away to school won’t help you all to learn to live together in harmony.
I needed this today. I have a four year old boy who has the mouth, mind and attitude of a much older child but the emotional control of a toddler so we are sincerely struggling with our responses. We have tried different strategies but as the older moms around us have begun to question our methods and if they will produce a child that is obedient to Christ given that he is disobedient to this parents, we have slide into the sledgehammer category. I’ll give these resources a try because I am desperate to reach his little heart RIGHT NOW!
I’ve had Ginger’s Wise Words for mom’s since our oldest (now 17) was young. It is still a valuable tool, quick reference and an easy wall calendar type size. Thank you for this video and for highlighting these lovely ladies! God bless you all!
