Hey everyone todays video shows all the celebrity homes or mansion that were forced to be demolished. These amazing homes were once dream homes of the rich and famous, now they were either old and dated or have a terrible story behind them that forced new owners to have the mansions demolished. O.J Simpson's Rockingham home in Los Angeles was torn down in 1998. My mother and I drove by it in early 1996. Between the privacy wall and the greenery there wasn't much to see. The front drive and door where the Bronco arrived carrying Simpson was visible.
We also drove down a few blocks to Nicole Brown Simpson's townhouse. The murder scene was clearly visible with the decorative gate in front of where it happened. A major misconception about the home was that it was demolished after her murder. The new owners planted tropical plants and trees to mask the existing site that we viewed. A news article stated that, according to property records, Nicole’s former townhouse was last sold for $1.7 million in 2016.
I thought O.J. Simpson lived in Brentwood.

Rockingham is a street, in Brentwood. Check out Phyllis Dillers house down the street from OJ's, it was torn down too.
@@jayusa879 Brentwood is a suburban neighborhood in the Westside region of Los Angeles. It is not a municipal city like Santa Monica is.
I referenced Simpson's home in California as Los Angeles to distinguish it from the home that was demolished in Florida. Keep in mind that the events of 1995 occurred 28 years ago as of this writing. Many viewers of the video may not have been born or been too young to have a living memory of it.
Also, RUclips is seen around the world today where many potential viewers didn't know about Simpson's events as contemporary news in 1995. They have a better chance of knowing about Los Angeles than one of its suburbs.
There is a city in California named "Brentwood" It is located in Contra Costa County in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area.

I live not far from Prince's Paisley Park in Chanhassen, MN. What is more interesting however is that just a mile away, on a lake, Prince owned a huge house, with walking paths and a gaurd shack near the entrance. For some reason, decades ago, he had the entire house demolished, but still owned the land. All I can think of is he basically lived at Paisley Park, had no reason to go to the mansion, but was paying huge property taxes. I think he was private enough he didn't want to sell it, just for someone to say they live in Prince's house, so to save on the property taxes he demolished it. I believe he continued to own the land until he passed away. But the true story about what happened to that house I think would be fascinating. His first big house he bought, he painted purple, and eventually gave to his father. The fence outside has a P on the gate. After his father passed away, he had that house also demolished but still owned the land. Don't know what that guy was up to.
Lots of interesting stories surround people with way more dollars than sense. Thanks for the anecdote.

The people who bought Phil Donahue's house are full of crap. Laine & Kevin (Our Restoration Nation) have beautifully restored homes much older and in much worse condition.

Good lord… that French one really upsets me. Beautiful home, the government couldn’t find a way to force him to sell it rather than wasting all the time and effort put into building it by demolishing it?? Always thankful I don’t live in oppressive Europe haha.
That will also happen anywhere in north america if you build something with complete disregard in applying for any building permits or don't wait for the planning commission to approve your plans for your renovation or build. This owner was according to the story a real estate developer, it's his fault if this property gets demolished he should have known better.

There are unfair conditions in NDA’s, such as if the victim talks about the details of the sexual assault the victim can be sued and repay the money paid to keep the victims quiet. Great video you know the funny thing is the judge in New York says that trumps Mar-a-Lago estate is only worth $18 million. 😂 when the property next to him not even half the size is worth over 150 million Trump makes well over $80 million a year in club revenue from patrons that pay for a membership fee that’s $250,000 per year 😮 he purchased the property pretty cheap, but he did a lot of improvements, and he also made it into a club even though he lives there.
