- When this missionary* landed on the field, everything went wrong. But now, nearly twenty after first arriving on the mission field, he's more confident than ever in his calling?
Why? Because even though missions isn't very glorious, Jesus is.

Likewise I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”
These are the missionary stories that Christ followers need to hear before they go overseas
"And you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.."
"And as Peter was still speaking to them.. the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard.."
"If anyone is THIRSTY let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart (not his head!) will flow rivers of living water..."
Read this verse out loud:
"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me because the LORD has anointed me to:
preach good news to the poor,
He has sent me to heal the broken hearted,
To Proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound."
Pray this prayer:
"Father, Thank you that you give good gifts to your children. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. You said in your word that when the Holy Spirit was poured out from heaven, that your disciples would receive power from on high to be your witnesses. Father that same Spirit is available today for me to drink and I ask you: fill me with your Holy Ghost. Pour it into me. Pour til full. Pour til overflow. Pour. Pour Some more. Keep pouring. Pour into me. Pour into me. Pour. Pour. Pour. Pour it out. I receive it in full in Jesus Name. I receive all that you have.. Thank you that in your word you say you have good pleasure to will and work in me. Thank you that you'll make joy full. Lord, TODAY, I am your vessel. Thank you for sending Jesus, forgiving, washing me, cleansing and pruning me to make me more fruitful according to your word. Thank you for dwelling in me. FILL ME WITH YOUR SPIRIT.. Bring me into your presence. Fill me with it. Thank you that you care for me and give new life in you. If you can do it for me, and you can do it for many. I believe that. Invigorate people Lord. Give life to bodies. Fill the church with power so that we can seek and save that which is lost. Let us be your hands and feet. Dont only give us the crumbs but let us know you deeply. Thank you for abundant life. Thank you for healing. Thank you for your Gospel. Thank you for liberty. Thank you for opening. Thank you for strategy. Thank you for plans. Stir the hunger, God. Fan into flame. Fill me with your Spirit. Let the fire never go out. I wanna burn for you and live in you all the days of my life. Renew my heart for the lost, and give me a zealous passion for the things of God. According to proverbs 11:30, make me a wise soul winning disciple."
John 15:1-16 NKJV - “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears MUCH FRUIT; for without Me you can do nothing.
“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
“By this My Father is glorified, that YOU BEAR MUCH FRUIT; so you will be My disciples.
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
“If you keep My commandments, (Do what he says) you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
“These things I have spoken to you, that MY JOY MAY REMAIN IN YOU, and that your JOY may be full.
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
“You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
“No longer do I call you (vineyard/harvest) servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you THAT you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
(He doesn't appoint people to go and not bear fruit.)
