  • In OK4WD's Alu-Cab equipped Toyota Tacoma, I spend the week driving cross-country from Colorado, back to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, while seeking out adventures in lush deciduous landscapes. I stop at Taco Bell more than once, and wrap up the journey with a delicious burrito from Hellbender.

I watch alot of RUclips videos and I've never seen someone take the time to video the removal of garbage. AWESOME! That is the best demonstration of leading by example I've seen by an overlander! Good work.

Thanks for picking up other peoples' litter. I do the same. When people see me doing that they get all atwitter thinking I'm some kind humanitarian or something. I have to explain it to them that I do it for myself and the sense of satisfaction it gives me (totally self centered reasons!).

I know jeeps are kool, but the Toyota rig is a really nice overlanding rig. That’s the rig I would want for my adventures. I’m not big into rock crawling other than when I come across them when overlanding. Love the kitchen and it looks more than capable.
    Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Hi Chris, I’ve been catching up on your videos off and on for a few weeks now. Your videos are informative and entertaining. I have to tell you...I just about spit up my coffee at about 14 minutes in when you talked about someone discarded underwear. That was hilarious! Thank you for the laugh. I needed it and your timing even about 2 years later was spot on. Can you believe it?! 😃

Great again Chris! Well edited and interesting as always. I'm a Jeep guy but would love your impressions of this nice Toyota regarding not only the camper, but the driving experience, seating, height, engine performance, stability, off-road abilities, fit and finish, value, etc.. Maybe comparison to your JKUR. You do provide thoughtful content and I hope I am not being too "demanding". SUVs are taking over America's hearts and roads and you are in a position to be a wonderful resource. Just a request!

At 13:49 that blue strip looks like a tourniquet used by EMS, same color and everything as the ones we have in our IV and drug boxes. It's also used my drug users to shoot up. If you see something like that definitely be VERY careful as usually when those come out a needle is not far behind. If it was EMS they are probably pretty good about keeping up with their needles but drug addicts not so much.

Good for you for picking up the trash. Unfortunately that seems to be a reality that is tough to stomach. If those of us who do care about our free campsites and have respect for our national treasures don’t pitch in like that, we will most likely lose our privilege of being able to access them. I hope we don’t ruin a great asset.
